This series aims to show the best vehicles to use in GTA Online in a racing situation. That is, around a regular circuit with a mix of corners and straights. The word "Fastest" means nothing without some context - these are the fastest vehicles around a circuit. How Lap Times Were Obtained Accurately
The best lap time a vehicle can achieve around a circuit determines how good it is and therefore its place within this list.
Each vehicle was taken around the same circuit multiple times, with the best lap time being recorded. For most vehicles this equates to 10 laps per vehicle, but can often be more to ensure the absolute best lap time has been achieved with the vehicle. There are some caveats to this kind of testing though which are worth explaining below.

I recommend reading this for anyone who is confused, interested, or doubts the validity of the results in this video as it explains in great detail the extent to which these results will be useful for you personally, in addition to linking the track used for your own testing/comparison.*
So with that all being said, this video should be taken as a guideline. The testing is very accurate for this track and similar tracks when cars are driven close to the maximum. At the very least you should be able to use this testing help narrow your field of view for your own personal testing. I would always recommend testing a variety of cars yourself and take into account what kind of tracks you're racing on, what is better for you and your skill level, and even your budget. My testing is meant to guide you, not tell you exactly what to use in every situation.

People, don't be sad that it's over, be glad that it happened. And everything that could become a thing because of said testing videos. The GTA Online community wouldn't be the same without Broughy's effort.
What's happened?
Have you not watched the previous videos of this miniseries of all tested vehicles? Rockstar decided to release the game as Expanded and Enhanced for the newest consoles (PS5 and Xbox series X, later on PC as well) where the game is expected to run on 60fps, significantly affecting the physics which will affect the acceleration and handling of cars, hypothetically producing faster laptimes. Well, at least this is what I understood from Broughy's explanation in previous videos, as to why the whole testing process may change in the future. IIRC it was in the previous video of 200-101 fastest cars in GTA:O where he mentioned that it would take him 2 months of uninterrupted testing (time that would otherwise be reserved for streaming and recording other videos), has he done it all over again.

@@bustanut6137 its not our fault if people mod this game, still we have players who never touched a modmenu in his life and wanted a clean acc, today i unistalled the game so for me GTA Online its done if they dont say anything.

The dozer vs the top cars has got me laughing but at the same time got me bit emotional. Didn't know that this series was close to heart. There were depressing days in my life and your videos were there for me to cope up with. I'd just be binging on your playlists hours together and time would just fly by. It was a wild ride indeed. Without that 1st step back in the day w.r.t the car testing, we would probably not be watching this final series of compilation today. I just want to thank you Adam from the bottom of my heart for everything.
Damn I can't help but feel a bit sentimental about this ending. I would casually watch the newer videos every now and then since I stopped playing GTA 5 awhile ago, but knowing that Broughy has been consistently doing this for the last eight years shows nothing less than dedication. I've been following you for a few years and you're easily the one creator I have the most gratitude to. Me and me best pal would always consult your videos and spreadsheets to better gauge our decisions on which cars we'd drive every time we raced. Any time new vehicles arrived, or any time there seemed to be an update to them, it was constantly "Have the 811 and Vagner been dethroned yet? How is the Elegy holding up?" and then that became "Well.... has anything been done to the Pariah? Is anyone going to stop the Krieger and Emerus' reign of terror?" and they were always great for information when other friends would insist that the airport drag race was sufficient.
Thanks for the near-decade of help and information you've consistently given the entire community and updated on, we'd probably still be stuck thinking the T20 was the best if it wasn't for you.
Thank you for all these years of constant car testing. I found your channel and have been following since February 2016, after looking around on CZcams for the best cars for racing in each class in GTA Online. Joined your racing community later on in the fall of 2016 and it's been a blast. Altough I'm not racing quite as much as I used to in GTA, I'm excited to see what's next on this channel in regards to cars/racing content!

I thought I was gonna get emotional at the end. So crazy how much you've done towards this series, and for us as viewers. I think I started watching you around the Casino DLC cause I wanted to know what new cars would be best of their class (and to own so I can dominate races lol). From there, I wouldn't have discovered the other things you do, things like Gfred and Random All, PC servers like Project Homecoming, and the countless other racing style events. I hope moving forward, especially with how the E&E release has seemed to be a big disappointment, doesn't stop you from doing more testing and fact finding. I think this stuff is really cool and should be something to continue upon and not give up. Tired of trying to find credible people in the community and you're the only one I've found that I can trust. Keep on making videos and having fun!
About six and a half years ago I found this channel from the 2015 sports car top speeds and I was hooked. Listening to this man talk about GTA 5 car performance will never get old. I think I’ll go back and rewatch that video

broughy it would be interesting to see a video where you take a few cars you've tested before and compare their testing times on next gen and old gen to see just how much of a difference 60fps makes and if its a consistent difference and if it was you could say roughly add X% to the old times to make them comparable to next gen times :)

Hey Broughy, I dont know if you saw my other comment a couple videos back but would you consider a big community event where people compete for the fastest lap times in each car? A non contact race in a technically balanced car can be used to assign weights to each participant and based on that the results are compiled into a big list of lap times. Thanks for all your hard work!

I played in 2013-2014, then I sold the game. Then I started in 2022/02 again. Over 8 years, I returned to found out I missed super lot of stuff. GTA is about cars in the end. Thank you Mr. Broughy1322 for bringing these intensive and extensive track testing. You will be forever remembered, even in year 2050.
Pretty incredible amount of work and I still use the website you made to this day. I think its funny that I never intended to race open wheel but I WON the BR8 on the casino wheel and thus I specced it out and raced it. Never have I been so lucky in GTA.

i really loved you talked about the RH8, it's by far my favourite car in the game. the fact that is free makes it even better.
Wow, what an adventure. 522 4-wheeled vehicles and some of the cars from day 1 are still able to make the top 100. It seems even crazier to see that the Toros in SUVs, the Vagrant in Offroads, the Turismo Classics in Sports Classic and the Buffalo STX in Muscles are the only other non-boosted raceable cars that can beat most super and sports cars.
I can confidently say that I will be owning most of these cars, any other vehicles at the top of their class that didn't make top 100 and I will definitely have a whole garage with just the top 10 cars.
Also, I'm just thinking if it took around 2.5-3 hours just to see a clip of each vehicle's lap time, I can only imagine how long it would take to see a full lap for each vehicle, kind of like when you showed off every time trial in the Adder.
Broughy’s tests have been my carfax for these cars since forever.

In terms of next gen testing I think I speak for a lot of people when I say this, realistically like you said its not feasible to test all 500+ cars again but maybe testing the top 5 of each class on the new version of the game might be doable? It would most certainly be highely appreciated my myself and im sure many others.

I am impressed with the performances of the Feltzer, Paragon R, and Cyclone. I didn't think any of them would reach as high as they did!
Honorable mention for the Weeny Issy Sport, too.
The Buffalo STX would fit so well in the Sports class. I would love to have seen some high level racing between the bump hungry Jester (RC), the nippy Feltzer, and the planted STX. It would be one hell of a close race that's for sure

dont put to much pressure on yourself, i always saw your tests as an overall speed and not an absolute test, this game is so bugged that creating something like that is impossible so keep calm and do whatever you love
An idea could also be to just retest the top few of each class (or the most raced classes). The new version of the game is probably not changing that much so that really bad cars are now at the top, and I would guess a lot of people are only interested in the best for each class. So while retesting all the cars would be really hard work it could so be cut down to what people are most interested.
