They are! I was travelling Bali alone September 23 and triple broke my left ankle falling into a sewer canal. In hospital the doctor phoned my hotel and asked the receptionist lady to bring my passport. Form that day she made a visit to the hospital every day. She took me from hospital back to the hotel and on the last day she drove me to the airport. So many people i never met before helped me a lot. I will return to Bali in two months.😊

That reputation can easily go back to where her family lives.
the guy who did not want to be filmed at the start is either shy OR have something to hide OR do not want his sales tactic exposed. :) nevertheless it is his right not to be filmed
Its in a religious country... if he/she comes from provinces or other parts of the indonesia... their reputation may get severly tarnished for working in such filthy industries.
You can front it as "massages" all you want.
But example in Islam, you are not evrn allowed to touvh the opposiye gender. So massaging, being alone with opposite gender, and "massage+" will destroy such peoples reputations in thrir home provinces if they get recognized.

You may not have realised that someone’s image is their own personal property and that they necessarily don’t have anything to hide. Please be respectful in the future and refrain from impinging on people's privacy and obtain consent. The Balinese people were so polite with you, in a different Western country you would have been told off. Still, great efforts from you and keep up with the informative content showing a day in a life of a foreigner in Bali.

It is respectful to ask for permission if in store. On public you are expected to be OK if you are filmed. But when someone does not want to be filmed and cameraman answers in a rude condescending way, then that is a problem, moral problem, but problem nevertheless.

@@WildCARLOSappeared these girls mostly come from pour villages where there is nothing and no way to make money. they tell their families and village that they go to work in the city. they send money back home when they can. if one person in the village sees her face with other young girls in front of a massage establishment then the whole village will know. including the family. remember that religion is also a factor. it's a rough place for young girls in some countries and finding out things like this can result in very bad things happening. even by her own family.
