Weird Al is an AMERICAN Icon!
Unless you come to Europe, I can guarantee you that unfortunately I cannot avoid this tour as it is not coming to a city near me:/
I'll be honest. I've avoided seeing Al in person my whole life. Not by choice of course. Something always goes wrong when the chance arises.
I had tickets to see the Bad Hair Day tour when I was in high school, but my ride backed out at the last minute.
@@danmccarthy4700 I've been to half a dozen of his concerts with no problems, but the one time I went to see him at an outdoor venue, the show was rained out halfway through.
the same thing happened to me when he was at the local fair two years straight (the second year was the bad hair day tour). something came up and i couldn't go either time (it was the fair so you didn't have to pay for the music specifically).
@@theimortal1974 First time I went to go see him was at my local fair. First time he'd come there. I kept trying to get my mother to hurry up, but she was taking her time. IDK if she read the wrong time of his showing or what. But as we got there, I could hear him singing. I wanna say it was one of his food songs. Like Oreo. BUT... just as we got to the stage, you could hear him thank the crowd and leave... I never got to even see him. Only hear his voice and that was it.
I just saw him last night in Topeka KS. Emo Phillips was hilarious, the show was amazing. No disappointments whatsoever. The energy coming from the stage was the same as if the whole stage show was there. I loved hearing the lesser known songs that I grew up on. This was my 2nd time seeing Al live and I hope that I can bring my daughter to the next one. Thank you for all the years of entertainment, Weird Al will forever be one of my favorites.
My dad is doing a poster for Al and we got free VIP tickets. I can’t wait to see him!!!
This is cool but don't let this make you forget the fact that Mr crabs sold Spongebob's soul for 62 cents
Ok
SpongeBob Rectanglepants? 🧽
This chance I’m not going to miss it. I always tried to talk my husband into it after our big State Fair but he was always too tired. Something tells me any tiredness would quickly fade away.
I've always wanted to see him live, but I'm in Finland. 😭 Tour in Europe, please!!
I love that guy. I'd sit on the lawn in '87 with my best friend at midnight filling out mad-libs with dirty words and listening to him in the background. Yoda and Jeopardy and girls just want to have lunch were playing at the time.
DISCLAIMER: COMPLETELY UNTRUE
I live in italy and there are no tickets for the town near me! You weird liar!
Al. I love you. Since My Bologna, I have gotten to retain a piece of my youth by watching you stay relevant longer than ANYONE you parodied and now my children and teenagers know how fun music can be. Glad I can finally drop a thank you somewhere for that day when I was driving on my learners permit and I looked at my buddy in the back seat...the intro to "Smells Like Teen Spirit" didn't sound quite the same on the radio....
We almost gave my mom an aneurysm when I cranked your parody. It was worth being grounded.
That said; not getting my kids poked to see ya.
Cheers.
My wife got me tickets for this for my birthday. I’m so excited
I got the VIP tickets for your show in September! I'm so excited! I've been listening to Al since I was around 9, and I really hope one of the songs is off Running with Scissors.
Saw the last one, count me in for the next!
I love you, Al. Your songs are the inspiration for the sketches in my upcoming animated sketch comedy show.
Fantastic. The first round of self-indulgence was excellent.
"Coming to a city near you."
The closest city on your list is a 15 hour drive from me.
