“I wish there was a way to know you’re in the good old days before you’ve actually left them” - this has to be the best quote in the entire series
Yes and also Pams quote when she said: I’ve spent so many years being less happy than I could have been
💯 % agree 👍
@@yodukenukem Pam in the first 3 seasons was agonizing to watch, she was never happy with Roy, and she learned that, which is why she never was able to see the whole documentary
This quote has stuck with me since I first watched this show, around 3 years ago
One of my favorite quotes in life
Andy: *Brags about how smart he is because he want to Cornell*
Also Andy: “The fire is shooting at us!”
To be fair he did say he never studied once haha although he did say he graduated in only 4 years so you'd think he would be smarter 🤔🤣
Yo Tom what’s up how’s Leslie
what're you doing here?
Tom?!
Also talks about parents paying their kids’ orphanage bills.
"It's pronounced Colonel - it's the highest rank in the military."
Is still so underrated. Gets me every time.
I've been laughing at that for like the past ten minutes lol
Creed always has the best one liners
100%. One of my favourite bits of the entire show hahahaha
@@rigrag7876 Right? When I first heard it I was gasping with air. My brain couldn't handle all the levels in which it's funny af.
i was searching "the office cornell" just to get that sentence, excellent
Andy was NEVER more Triggered than with Dwight and his Cornell sweatshirt and storyline. It’s a miracle he didn’t put his fist through the wall .Creed’s comment added more fuel to the fire. This was awesome.
And specially when he brings out the bobblehead bear😂😂😂😂
@@chiragbhawnani67 👍🏻😂
Those clips were the best part of the video
It's sad that people go to college, and end up in jobs they could have easily gotten without a college degree
@@leonardo899 I get your point but ending up with NO job is far sadder.
A job is a job. Many colleges degrees are now in bulls**t subjects just created to dumb down an actual college education in real life. Andy is a lousy salesman so he’s lucky he even has a job 😂
"I embarrassed this university for nine years!"
- Ed Helms, 2014 Cornell Commencement Speech
It's sad that people go to college, and end up in jobs they could have easily gotten without a college degree
@@leonardo899 you keep commenting this. You realize Andy is not a real Cornell grad and there are probably 0 Cornell grads who sell paper, right?
@@Mac-dt3iz i think you missed the point
@@averagetoachievetruefreedo4064 Nah. He's using Andy to support his argument that many people, even Ivy League grads, pursue employment that does not require a college degree, which makes no sense. I guess he wants to feel better about not going to college.
@@Mac-dt3iz andy is an example of people who are like that he may not be real but there are people who go to college for years and realize that’s it’s not their passion or they still just can’t get the job they wanted in the first place it’s not some super unrealistic thing.
Andy is pretty much a walking advertisement for Cornell
I still fine you everywhere
It's not. What the point of going to college if you are going to end up selling paper?
He's more like a PSA warning you about the dangers of going to Cornell.
He's the complete opposite. Who would want to end up like Andy?? No one.
@@neolexiousneolexian6079yeah if anything these scenes were written by guys who went to Brown
Andy advertised Cornell so much that at one time I forgot that Cornell actually existed and is not fictional
ahahaha right?!
"It's pronounced Colonel, its the highest rank in the military"
God I love Creed
I spit my drink
He had me in tears!
“It’s pronounced Cornell! It’s the highest rank in the Ivy League!”
Now we need “Every time Dwight says ‘Fact’ or ‘False’”
"I wish there was a way to know you are in the good old days, before you actually left them" - Andy
Don't we all?
“Thanks Dad… Darryl” that was deep. He’s got a past
3:45 "It's pronounced Colonel, its the highest rank in the military"
I love how Creed manages to steal the show with a one liner.
It was so sad to see Andy's character plummet in the final season, especially after all the good development he had over the rest of the series
I know right! Uhg gosh, I really started to not like him
Erin and Nellie deserved whatever Andy did to them.
Nellie took Andy's job and Erin dated someone without breaking up with him with a guy named Pete.
It was satisfying to watch.
He was always awful.
@@purplemadnessW What did Nellie deserved?
@@gpaderx6105 when Andy was having an erectile dysfunction, she humiliated him in front of the entire office and also took his job like an annoying leech
I feel like Mindy Kaling (Dartmouth alum, rival of Cornell) wrote her subtle digs at Cornell through Andy. Making them look bad by my making him obnoxious.
Many of the writers for “The Simpsons,” including Greg Daniels who later adapted “The Office” for the US, went to Harvard. The Simpsons constantly made fun of Yale for this reason. The Ivy League rivalries are real!
It’s kinda funny because Jim and Ryan both went to Brown which is also Ivy League
@@abraarahmed3823 is it though? Is it? (re:simpsons joke on brown)
Most the office guys went to top tier schools:-
Greg Daniels (creator) - Harvard University
BJ Novak (Ryan Howard) - Harvard university
Mindy Kaling ( Kelly Kapoor) - Dartmouth University
John Krasinski (James 'Jim' Halpert) - Brown University
Rashida Jones (Karen Filipelli) - Harvard University
Andy Buckley ( David Wallace) - Stanford University
Ellie Kemper (Erin Hannon) - Princeton University & Worcester college ( Oxford University)
Ed Helms (Andy Bernard) himself went to Tisch School of the Arts, NYU which is one the drama best schools in the world.
Can we have one where Jim always hangs up the phone? Lol “you know what, let me call you right back” 😂
That's actually a great idea
Or they could do a every time Dwight yells Michael compilation and this time for real, because there are many more scenes than just the famous one
7:24 this is, in my opinion, the most heart touching thing in the office and a quote that I think about quite often. ENJOY THE MOMENT
I swear I started bawling when I first saw that
@@lakshmi4224 I didn't cry but my eyes got wet. It's kinda sad that I realized that I did the same thing Andy did. At least I'm aware of it now and I changed it. Kinda of crazy how much a line from a TV show low-key changed the way I look and live life
@@goncalo1485 yessss definitely
once again Creed manages to become the highlight in a video that is nothing to do with him
Okay this compilation is totally amazing and all but the description of this video tho- 😶💀
One thing! Just one thing! Please tell IT to me: WHY tf do I have so many fans even though no CZcamsr is unprettier than I am? WORLDWIDE!!!! WHY??? Tell me, dear jbk
Why did you make me look at that
It’s a quote from the video
Yeah
7:45 "I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days..." This one hits home every single time.
I wondered why some scenes are silent, then I realized they're playing on the left channel and I only have my right earphone in.
I legit thought my headphones were broken, I started fiddling with it till the sound came back. I decided to look at the comments and found this, so thank you for stopping me from throwing away my headphones

@@kellenthemelon226 LOOOOL, I thought my battery was low on one side and turned off. LOL i was thinkin wtf i charged them both at the same time.
One of my favourite Andy moments/dialogues which made me laugh for 10 mins straight and probably underappreciated:-
In the mafia episode when Dwight says "what if Michael felt no fear toward the mafia guy?"
Andy: Are you saying-
Dwight: Yeah…
Andy: That we surgically remove the fear center from Michael’s brain?
Perfect.
Mine was Andy trying to find out if he was Gay and then later asking Michael “Am I gay?”, Mike says no then says 1 rumor was true, then Andy looks worried and asked “AM I GAY MICHAEL?”
Andy becomes the only person who act smart and stupid at the same time
Andy had simultaneously the best character growth and worst character decay
He grew a lot in seasons 4-8, then crashed for most of season 9, but was a lot better in the finale.
andy’s last line has always stuck with me. just graduation high school earlier this year
in the same boat as you, my friend
@@calebo56 wishing i could go back to elementary school with all my homies before school playing basketball getting all sweaty before school even started
Sounds like you need to go back already.
I rebembered when me graduationed high skool
The feels bruh
The word Cornell has more screen time than Devon
about Andy's last line on the good ol days: the resolution is called always living mindfully in the present. The present will seem like the good ol days in 20+ years time to you, it always does before you even realise it. So always live in the present :)
I got into cornell today and rewatching this video was the ultimate reward
omg same haha
Congrats belated
Congrats belated
“I wish there was a way to know you were in the good old days before you actually left them.” That there makes me cry. I miss the good old days. I miss them so much
This is Andys way of saying "thats what she said".
You have to love how Dwight learned so much about pranking from his mortal enemy, Jim.
Does anyone know if he said Cornell more than he said Tuna?
When Darryl said “You did good” and Andy replied “Thanks Dad, Darryl!” really showed how neglected Andy was by his own parents, and to finally at least hear something good from someone he respected nearly made him cry, that looked unscripted to me.
Dwight has done such a good Jim impersonation here.
4:24 that "Slaughter!" face he does kills me every time
It is a blast to go to the Cornell Facebook page and see the hundreds of Andrew Bernard quotes and references - despite he never went to Cornell.
And the fact the Andrew Bernard does not exist.
Most people not in or from the Northeast would otherwise probably never have heard of Cornell.
it’s pronounced colonel - highest rank in the military
It's pronounced KORRNELL.... it's the highest rank in ivy league
@@farhansiddiqelmizan6405 that's what she said!
It’s pronounce kernel tasty snap
It is honestly amazing that Andy didin't Punch a hole through the wall when Dwight was screwing with him about Cornell.
I'm actually surprised that it was 8mins of that, i didn't realize he mentioned cornell that much.
Edit: Sorry, i meant colonel, the highest rank in the military.
"Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration"
"Andy Bernard, Cornell University"
“That’s Big Red Bear! That’s A Bobble Big Red Bear! GOD!” 😂
I loved how jim rubbed off on Dwight how he kept fucking with Andy about Cornell
Dwight trolling Andy is everything!
Imagine going to cornell and your career is a paper salesman at a mid size paper supplier lmao
I had a co-worker that went to Cornell, was the biggest dork, and mentioned Cornell at the drop of a hat. I swore they modeled Andy Bernard after that guy.
It must be based on someone. Lol
“It’s pronounced colonel it’s the highest rank in the military”
“IT’S PRONOUNCED CORNELL”
Beat me to it
"It's pronounced 'colonel,' and it's the highest rank in the military!"
I wish you could know you’re in the good old days before you left them. True stuff right there.
Ed Helms is so funny, he really lit it up!
Andy peaked at Cornell, and he knows it.
“it’s pronounced colonel, it’s the highest rank in the military”
3:44 - Creed again steals it. 😂
Cornell very quickly stops sounding like a word in this video lol
7:45 The Best quote in The Office history ❤
"here comes treble" is the line that got me to give the office a chance. I'm glad i did.
“That is all sir. You may go.” 😂😂😂
Guys did you know that Andy graduated from Cornell
That last line gets me every time!
Andy's character development by the end is lit
Mans just threw away the coffee after Dwight bumped Cups with him 🤣🤣😂
Early Andy is a masterpiece
There couldn't have been a better way to end this video!
its nice to see dwight pranking someone for once, lol
THEY DID IT, FINALLY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS
Essa notificação melhorou meu dia! 😄
Did you know that Cornell is actually closer to Scranton than to Stamford? From Ithaca, NY (where Cornell is located) to Scranton, PA is like 80 miles, while Ithaca, NY to Stamford, CT is like 180 miles away. Considering Stamford was the first branch of the paper company Andy worked at, I wonder why after graduating he didn't seek a job in Scranton which is much closer to his school but went all the way to Connecticut, and eventually had to move back closer to Scranton anyway.
Yk, probably from all of your guys clips, and other office ones I could put together most office episodes
By saying someone should write a song about that, and not immediately trying to write it himself, shows how far he came.
They ruined Andys character in the end. What a pity
Well think about it his whole character is based on ruining him self NGL
@@saturn5087 he was so cringe in the end seasons just like the seasons itself
@@thelonesoldier4518 Yup they did. They just didn't know how to continue the show without Michael. They brought new characters like California who I liked very much liked initially but hated when they increased his screentime. Andy's character development was so great like he was absolutely unlikable in S3 but becomes your favourite after that and then destroyed in the end much like Jaime Lannister from Game of Thrones :/
He was obnoxious from his introduction into the ending. You can't ruin something that never really changed.
I love Andy lmao
Wait he went to Cornell?
*I wish there was a way to know you are in the good old days before you've actually left them.*
Just a friendly reminder that Ryan started the fire
Imagine going to an ivy league school just to become a salesman that won't stop talking about an ivy league school 😂🙄
My left ear is enjoying this
"Ever heard of it?"
Spot-on impression of Keith Olbermann.
andy was such a sweetheart to angela tbh..
The capital of Maine is Augusta. And Albany is the closest state capital to Ithaca, Montpelier is over 300 miles away so definitely not near
I'm smarter than a mortal? A surprise to absolutely no one
Right? I never understood if this was some kind of inside joke, or if he is playing dumb or something.
He said "the Capital of Maine is Montpellier, Vermont" - so he falsified his own guess in one sentence which is obviously the joke. It should illustrate how ridiculious this whole conversation is, that Dwight does Interviews for his new number two.
[looks at the video runtime]
*Oh good lord!*
I went to Cornell... Ever heard of it?
Oh I already remembered his monologue, that's why the description haha
Every time Andy says Cornell
Take a shot
“The capital of Maine is Montpelier, Vermont, which is near Ithaca, New York, where I went to Cornell.”
Dwight pulling out his inner Jim with the Cornell swag
Excellent!
*insert quote from the video you just watched*
It has “I use Arch btw” type of energy.
“Hi, I’m Andy Bernard and I went to J. F. Drake State Community and Technical College,” just doesn’t quite have the same ring.
Last Minute was beauty
there has to be at least 83 clips in this video alone
I thought this was going to be 3-4x longer than it was.
THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID
Now im going to cornell too
I love this show 🙏😍🙏
I can't remember the scenes with Dwight, what episode is this? :)
Lmaooo I'm surprised this isn't an hr long video
Every time he says one word. Oh ya hear we go 💺
Need a Dwight "false," super cut!
Oh the good old days..
I have a lingering feeling that Andy may have gone to Cornell you guys....
