The fact that Kevin’s beautiful voice tamed Angela’s hatred was the most wholesome part of this.
Also, the fact that Kevin, a known gambling addict is singing a song called “the gambler” by Kenny Rogers is hilarious

I wish they kept the Jan/Jim COD scene in the original episode. It showed Jan as being much more relaxed in Stamford and hinted at the two of them getting along really well.

It was also pretty hypocritical this was after she yelled at Michael for watching a movie in the office but doesn't care that Josh is playing Call of Duty. It shows she was probably always planning on replacing Michael with Josh.

The hypocrisy in jan, she's fine letting the Stanford branch playing COD, but in that same episode she's pissed that the Scranton branch watches a movie
There would be always one person under every video of a sitcom analysing every character to death like they would be funny if they were totally normal
1. She hates Michael, she disagrees with anything he does
2. She figures that one set hour of gaming a day is better than 1.5, 2 hours or possibly 2.5 hours of watching a movie

Fun Fact- This Office episode was sponsored by Call of Duty. The Office producers and writers used to add seemless sponsors into many episodes in order get extra cash. Even Second Life game was sponsored by the actual real life game. It was one of the most successfull TV-Sponsor collaboration ever. THE BEST part is even after Multiple viewings, these Product placements were never out of place. Only when I read some trvia for the show i got to know.
I suppose Staples was on of those sponsors?
Thought Second Life was made up for the show, like it's version of The Sims or something like that.

@@torikrasovska He didn't really want to impress the new boss. Him being smart and being appreciated by corporate was just a perk. The reason he left Scranton because he was hurt and jealous because of Pam and felt there's no chance getting married. Stay smart, focus on moving on with another girl.
I mean, just cuz he has a copy of the game that doesn't mean he's ever actually played it. Heck, my steam library is littered with games I haven't gotten around to playing yet 😅

Early 2000s, people will only have 4 - 7 games, even gamers have 7 games in their PCs at most. Also COD was a big hit that time. Buying one and not playing it is odd.

That’s the thing, the Scranton branch is almost always the best performing branch outright though. So being more strict is clearly just an issue with michaels philosophy

Jim giving Pam such a cold response to her embracing him when he comes back is one of the most heartbreaking moments in the show. To add insult to huge injury, you have to see Jim being all chummy with Karen in the same episode.
Not really, he had to see pam being lovey dovey with Roy, talking about bathing together 😂 so it was satisfying to see Pam getting her own medicine
He was just guarding his heart, not being intentionally cold. He obviously is in love with her but thinks she doesn’t return the feelings. So he’s not gonna just put his heart out there again. It’s on her now

Dumb question: Is all of this footage in the original episodes? I don't remember all of these scenes, like Jan's WASD murder, or them singing the Flintstones on the bus. Is this unused footage? I love it!
Half-and-half. The Flintstones song is at the end of the original broadcast of the beach episode.
Some of them are not from the original episodes, and some of the scenes are the “full” versions of scenes that were in the original episodes but were cut down. Like for example, the first scene in the video is in the show, but the comment about running through Stalingrad and getting motion sickness was cut out.
This is a good compilation. Seeing some clips I had never seen before is rare👍

I will be honest I did not expect Jim to be terrible at video games. I expected him to be at least decent at them, hearing him get motion sickness is wild to me lol. I mean it adds to the cuteness of the story of Jim but still I was kinda hoping Jim would not be the guy sitting there jumping into a wall. I think so. Peacock has like a super cut that includes deleted scenes that they added into the normal episodes.
The “Superfan Edition” episodes on Peacock have a lot of deleted scenes, but the producers are slipstreaming more deleted scenes that even the Superfan episodes don’t include!

It never made sense to me that Jim didn’t know how to play COD. If anything, I’d think he’d have the most experience.
They cut so much good content
You can only fit so much into a 30-minute episode. I’m so glad they are releasing deleted scenes bit-by-bit because some of those scenes provide context that was missing from some episodes; there were a few cases where a scene made a sudden leap or felt like it was missing something, but the deleted scene filled in some important blanks.
Some of these clips aren’t on my catalog of episodes on CZcams TV so it’s so weird it’s like seeing deleted scenes
