EDIT: It Actually works in modern rigs, keep scrolling down till you see cockman official, he explains in his comment how to install the gog release in order for it to work.
Keep in mind tho, its has issues. This issues can be fixable or impossible to fix depending on your rig apparently. In my case they were unfixable.
I recommend sailing the high seas to make sure you can fix the issues on your rig before doing a bad purchase.

When you install the game on win 10 it will launch normally - the intro, title screen, all this stuff works
But when you start a new game or load a save file it's just gonna show a black screen or an endless ocean.
Worry not however, there is a solution:
The problem lies in GOG's default install path. For some reason, the game will only work when you install it in a folder on your local drive.
So instead of installing it in the default path you should set the installation path to, for example:
C:\(Folder name)
The game should work normally once you install it this way.

I've been expecting this video since the teaser in the Pharaoh review, and I'm so glad it's here. I actually didn't know it doesn't run on Windows 10, but honestly I'm not surprised, I've never been able to get it to run in the past several years. I had hope the GOG version did, but apparently not, RIP.
Still, thank you for showing everyone this amazing game. I remember never wanting to get to the City technological stage because I was never able to fulfil the citizens' requirements, but I still loved it.

And the best part, there was not only a wall between the Consumers and all the misery, but you could even show that misery to the Consumers on TV and act all morally outraged about what "they" do over there to their people.
This however was sabotaged, when the cage owning Chicken had a little revolution and removed the Farmers and the wall and wanted to join the Consumers. Big Problem. You need the misery, but you can't make it too obvious that you need it, unless you want the Consumers to do the same to you as the Chickens in the East did to their Farmers.
Thats when they had the idea that solved it. "Agenda 2010" A wide reform of the unemployment systems and the job market. Designed to lower unemployment benefits until it hurts and further instill sanctions to penalize unemployed workers for not working in super shitty jobs that they are overqualified for and don't pay more than their unemployment benefits would. And opening the job market for "Temporary Work".
Temprary Work, that means you may have been working as a certified Bookseller at Germany's biggest Bookshop Chain (cough... Hugendubel...cough), but they just fired everyone a few years ago, and contracted a company that "rents" them the workers they need for a dime a dozen. The ingenius part is, the people who found work at the Workers-for-Rent-Company to escape a penalizing unemployment system are the same fucking people who were fired before! Including you! Now you are working, not as a certified Bookseller, but for another company that rents you out to the same place, to do the same job, as a "temporary worker", for the pay of an untrained worker. And since you are only borroughed, you can be disposed off at any time they want. Don't get uppity. Don't complain or unionize, or you're gone. Of course there is a carrot. You can work hard enough to be asked to hire for good at your host company! So suck it up and you may get your old job back... you may... i swear... after some time maybe... scout honor.

Damn, it took me but a second to recognize the game Sseth had open on his laptop at first, Spellforce. Again confirming that he's got an exceptional taste in videogames that nobody ever played. Sure hope he reviews or mentions that one again, the game is very underrated and deserves recognition because it is fairly unique even though it can become a slog and it's one of those games where it is possible to completely fuck up a character and make it almost unplayable by making your every choice the wrong one.
