  • This CRF450Rl dual sport dirt bike is too much fun… especially converted to a big wheel!
In this video we rip around some local Tucson AZ roads, and trails… the drone got some awesome shots offroad.

    Wow Sick!!!!! 😁🤘
I have a TW200 that I put a 26 inch ATV tire on I wanted to put one in the front also but everyone told me it wouldn't be safe for highway use comunting to work I also go off road on the weekends. I love my bike but not enough power. The goal is to get the Honda 650 you guys built same set up 26 inch back and 26 inch front I'm in the bronx ny but all the trails are upstate which I have to take the highway to get to don't have enough money for a pickup to trail it plus I hate being stuck in traffic I'm not a car guy so it looks like back and front 26 Inch tires would be fine on the highway what is your opinion

Hey! Obviously new here. What are the pros and cons of a this tire setup?

Yabut, Cant you do the same things without the bigwheel kit? and that sure looks squirrely when turning..

Doesn't really seem like there is much advantage to big wheel setup in this type of terrain. Think it would be fun in sand dunes and on east coast where it's muddy much of the time and many of the trails are shared with utility quads and side by sides.

The increase in traction on the dry- slippery ground is very noticeable over a normal bike… the contact patch is obviously greater, and we have the ability to air the tires down depending on terrain to help that even more . Being i am from the east coast, i feel i had better traction on a normal dirtbike in the clay/soil / dirt over this very dry terrain out west… so i have been enjoying our BW kits out here even more than back home in the north east.
Turning is always easier to angle and lay a bike down with skinny tires vs. wide , the goal here is added traction overall and we have done that with these kits.

@@BVCOFFROAD Big Wheels definitely have added overall traction compared to normal tires. I grew up riding BW80 and then BW200 in West Virginia mud. They are a blast in the snow also. If I ever moved back there I would love to put a BVC big wheel kit on my yz250.

Looks like it would be killer in the dunes with a fat paddle on the back and a smoothie on the front. I dig it.

@@BVCOFFROAD what would you recomend? I plan to do primarily street riding, and wheelies. If I do off road, it would be mostly flat dirt trails.. nothing crazy.

Looks a bit twitchy off road, maybe needs a steering dampener?

Does that riding area have a name? I live in AZ and am always looking for new places to ride.
