I was reading the Bible trying to find where Our Lord said, Strip your citizens of everything that is theirs and hand it all to a bunch of foreigners. I could not find it.

I read St. Thomas several years ago when illegal immigration started to become a problem. Praise God we have his writings.
Paul and Jesse, our Parish bulletin has been posting the need for sponsors to take in undocumented and unaccompanied children at the border for a month until they can be adopted. A Federal Grant was given to Catholic Charities of West Michigan to fund this. I emailed the person and expressed my concerns. Never got a response back. I quit giving to WMC charity awhile ago when I found out where some of the money goes. What are your thoughts on this? I know we need to help those in need, but I am learning that the Catholic charities along the border aren't as good as we thought.

We can fast and pray, do the 5 First Saturdays and 9 First Fridays, put on the Armor of GOD and wage spiritual warfare.
It is interesting to note that when the Jews were in captivity, they sadly adopted the customs of their host nation. They did not impose their own customs while in captivity. When God brought them out of captivity, they had to re-educate themselves in order to restore the civilised culture God was establishing through His Laws and Precepts.
To import masses of people alien to a country's culture and traditions produces a nation divided against itself, where Our Lord tells us; "A Nation divided against itself will fall." This is sadly what is happening in USA, UK, Europe.
These nations have turned their back on God and His Laws and Precepts; now we have no option but to face total destruction unless we return to the ancient Judo Christian direction God waited thousands of years to bring about. The 10 Commandments of God are our only hope, if we can ever recover.
what can we do???
Stay faithful to Jesus Christ and the Church that He founded, not the imitation one. With everything that's going on in the world, only an act of God can resolve it.
