I've been putting off doing this because it seems annoying and the RNG Gods hate me. But here I am now, sitting at work and HAVE to get it done when I get home in a few hours. Those gear pieces are just too good/handy to have. Good timing for this vid.

Having problems trading the chocolates to the gobbies
make sure you get the hat from the other vendor. you need to wear it for the event
That too, is RNG. They may not give you the present for just 1 chocolate. Try spamming to talk with them and giving more than 1 chocolate.

When going for pants+1 should i be wearing them?
doesn't matter, just luck
is there another way to get the tree i think i sold mine or somthing but its not in my inventory

Roast Turkey is NOT able to be sold to NPCs for 100 gil. I don't think you can sell the Candy Canes either. They are EX.
Ok cause the Lebkuchen was, I must have missed the EX tag on the turkey. And yeah Candy Cane and Candy Ring are not npcable
So I gave a gobbie a chocolate, he says something about his tummy rumbing so I give him another and he repats and doesn't give me a key item .. I used 10 on several gobbies and thhe never gave me an item .. broken game. :(
So I tried the 'flee' event .. talked to the galka, started running, get to firdt helper, talk to him, get the Flee buff (yes the buff icon appeared) .. and continue running at normal speed. Spoke to every helper but when I got the buff I NEVER ran faster and failed 3 times .. broken game. :(
Okay, so, for the 'flee' game DON'T USE AUTORUN! If you talk to the NPCs as you run by you WILL get a reply, you WILL get the 'fleee' buf and you WON'T get increased run speed .. this brain-dead game requires you to STOP and start running again to give you the increased run speed .. broken game. :(
Still no idea why the Merrymakers aren't giving me anything when I talk to them a seconf time.
@@robincollins8215 I had this exact issue with the merrymakers. What this guide does not make clear is that after you give them a chocolate you have to speak to them again TWICE. They will then give you a present. If they don't, then you need to trade another chocolate and speak to them again twice. It can take up to 3 chocolates in my experience but always remember to speak to them twice after you've give them a chocolate. I made the same mistake as you and bankrupt myself giving out like 20 chocolates lol.

i hate this event dam things wont take gobbie candys or give me a dream coat or gloves. alot of pants n dream bells n food
make sure to talk to gob twice after giving candy, if that doesn't work give it again
