I’ve lived here for 15 years but moved in and out in between, but I’ve finally moved out permanently 2 months ago at the age of 28. There’s nothing really dangerous about it trouble won’t come find you if you don’t go out looking for it; nothing strikingly different from anywhere else in the U.K. at least. it’s just a trampy run down hopeless sh*thole. Very depressing and such bad vibes. Not much of a society - tramps make up a large proportion of the population, followed closely by racist pikeys and chavs, loads of ‘white van’ type people and everyone else lives there because of its proximity to London. Walking through you will notice the majority of people look miserable and depressed.
