Why a War With Iran Is Inevitable

#Iran may not have launched any direct wars, but the Revolutionary Guards have helped to sow chaos throughout the region, and it appears that they were in some way behind Hamas' brutal attack on #Israel on 7 October. For example, it appears that they were in some way behind Hamas's brutal attack on Israel on 7 October. How? By providing the Palestinian terrorist group with weapons and training.
And that is not all, there is also the issue of the nuclear programme, which is unacceptable because of the risk it would pose to Israel, to the US's own deterrence - which would lose much of its strength - and also because of the risk of nuclear proliferation. Obviously, if Iran gets its hands on the bomb, don't think for a moment that Saudi Arabia, the Emirates or even Turkey will sit idly by. And to top it all off, there is the support for #Russia. Whichever way you look at it, Iran is becoming an increasingly difficult headache for the US to cope with.

As an iranian i think abandoning the nuclear deal was a great move by US. after that withdrawal the iranian economy got devastated and it really turned the people against regime in a span of 2-3 years. The hardliners in Iran who support supreme leader were always skeptical of the deal and wanted to abandon it just like republicans in america. So eventually that deal was gonna be abandoned anyway, and a single nuclear deal wouldn't solve any of the other problems between america and iran. So, morally it was the worst thing america could do since it created a black market and allowed government to control the whole economy, but strategically, great move.

As much as Iran is USA's problem, a war in the region would be a catastrophe for Europe.
Just number wise, Iran is an 80 million strong country (ie Germany) with young demographics, over 70% of the population under 45 years of age. The humanitarian/refugee crisis that could come from this war would put the Syrian crisis to shame. If anything, with America becoming ever more sketchy with Ukraine effort, the EU should ensure war is avoided.

Among them is nuclear war: Back in the cold war, the US and the Soviets were still TALKING to each other. The people in power today seem too caught up in their own ideas of morality and ideology to actually do their job. Diplomacy is substituted for demands and ultimatums, and compromise and negotiations are ignored. The world needs some pragmatic leaders, with realistic policies. For the first time since the enlightenment era, it is clear that idealism alone is not enough. Not when you're no longer running the world.

The answer is no. War with Iran is not in the US interest. The middle east as a whole is no longer a US key interest. We should be shifting our primary focus to the Pacific, and supporting proxies in the middle east as an afterthought. If the Israelis or Saudis or Turkey or whoever want to buy American weapon and defense technology, or even hire American security contractors, that's fine. They have the money to do so. They are capable of fighting their own battles at this point, or forming a self-interested coalition to oppose a regional threat like Iran. They are also probably much better ... oriented toward the low-intensity /assassination stuff in their own backyards that we just don't want to be involved in.

The current mass turmoil is proof of this. Countries are getting cocky because China potentially rivals U.S. power, they may even be purposefully working together to whittle down American supplies/money/will to fight and trying to drive wedges between our allies.

We have a Defense pact with Saudi Arabia and as FIAT Reserve currency holder it's our responsibility to protect the oil trade as to avert it being held hostage and thus resulting in massive damage to civilization.

Thanks to the rapidly increasing capabilities of LLMs, dissidents will be left with little chance to escape or circumvent this new AI powered totalitarianism.

If they are severely degraded will Saudi Arabia and Israel pass up the opportunity to attack Iran, if not by armies in direct conflict indirectly through hybrid warfare?

In the event of a war between the US and Iran, the US would eliminate Irans ability to produce and export oil. This will cause 70% of Iranian government funding and 20% of the nations GDP to dissappear overnight. The US is somewhat insulsted from the energy price shock as it is self sufficient. But many European countries would be paying the highest energy prices in history. Iran would lose its Navy and Airforce quite fast.
