Well it probably wouldn't have been if it wasn't for starco fans pressuring the creator. A lot of people who worked for the show and creator too shipped Tomco a lot, it was the only ship the creator did imply liking of the show but people expected Starco to happen. You can clearly see in early episodes however that Marco and Star relationship was more like Mable and Dipper than something romantic but that was changed because the creator thought she had to make Starco canon because of the shippers. Let's not forget the time Tom grabbed Marco's shoulders, looked him in the eyes, and said "Marco, you're- you're my BEST friend" during the battle against Meteora, then when breaking up with Star he said that he wanted to date someone who he "could be BEST friends with". I mean it's just perfect. 😂 The way this show ended was so sad though man. I hate it. Tom was such a great character though. He grew so much and was honestly so inspiring. Season 1 and 2 Star was my favorite character, then Season 3 was Marco, then season 4 was Tom.

The reason I always thought Star's spells were weak when Marco used them was because he had such a low affinity with them. We've seen Marco use dark spells with ease, something Star had trouble with. I'll never get over the unanswered questions regarding Marco and Toffee having expectations of him. Either way, Tomco should have been endgame.

Who just misses this show so much? Like I know the last seasons weren't the best but just something about this show was just amazing too me as a little kid and I grew up with it. Personally it's one of my favorite shows ever of all time but it makes me sad that it ended over 3 years now and we'll never get any more Star vs The Forces of Evil. This show will forever have a place in my heart. Edit: LIKE UGHHHH so many things weren't answered in the end of the show and left many questions behind. But noooo it's got rushed and hard take the ships honestly ruined the show and some of it's favorite characters. But we were all lil kids when this did came out so we really didn't get it at the time. Watching all again I see that. Season 1 and 2 are just amazing though for sure

I do not agree. Hekapoo and Marco is just weird since hekapoo is way older than him and Marco and Kelly was just cringe. They got together when Marco saw star and Tom kissing on the beach. They were practically a rebound couple and broke up off screen. The only ship with Marco i like other than Tom and star is Marco and Jackie. They were cute and had many good moments.

The reason I always thought Star's spells were weak when Marco used them was because he had such a low affinity with them.
We've seen Marco use dark spells with ease, something Star had trouble with.

Nah, cause the creator based marco design from her husband and star as herself so it was inevitable that she was going to pair them up. I really did not like how she force starco is become a thing in the end even at the means of the cheating subplot. You cant convince a creator to ship that character with someone else if that character is based on their spouse.
Besides, she messed up the show by adding too much focus on the romance and not on the plot since we all know how the ending went.
Jackie ends up with a french girl at the end of the show too, so Tomco could feasibly have happened

I always find it interesting how both tomco and starco went different directions from each other, Tomco started off as a cracked ship that developed into a genuine friendship with the potential of tom and marco becoming an actual couple, while starco started off as a genuine friendship with the potential of them becoming a couple in the future but unfortunately it lost it's charm due to poor writing later on

Who just misses this show so much? Like I know the last seasons weren't the best but just something about this show was just amazing too me as a little kid and I grew up with it. Personally it's one of my favorite shows ever of all time but it makes me sad that it ended over 3 years now and we'll never get any more Star vs The Forces of Evil. This show will forever have a place in my heart.
Edit: LIKE UGHHHH so many things weren't answered in the end of the show and left many questions behind. But noooo it's got rushed and hard take the ships honestly ruined the show and some of it's favorite characters. But we were all lil kids when this did came out so we really didn't get it at the time. Watching all again I see that. Season 1 and 2 are just amazing though for sure

I do not agree. Hekapoo and Marco is just weird since hekapoo is way older than him and Marco and Kelly was just cringe. They got together when Marco saw star and Tom kissing on the beach. They were practically a rebound couple and broke up off screen. The only ship with Marco i like other than Tom and star is Marco and Jackie. They were cute and had many good moments.
