Trying to nitpick the movie for adapting the concept a different way kinda defeats the purpose of adapting it in the first place lol
To be fair, that's actually a reasonable response. If you lost an arm you'd try to distance yourself from the injury as much as possible. Obviously it doesn't work, but when you lose a limb you're generally not thinking clearly. Garmadon taking control of the situation was really the best move because it helped Lloyd calm down a bit. Like oh, he can fix this. Which makes the scene where he goes 'you put my arm back on like a real dad' even better because most kids believe that their dad can fix anything. Including their arm coming off.
I like how they “kinda” kept Garmadon’s backstory with the show when he says he was bitten by a snake, only difference being in the show it was a snake demon and the movie the snake was bitten by a spider which they just included for humorous effect

I love how Kai and Cole are just casually standing by the bridge, while Jay is freaking out. He stands by the confident and strong people so he feels more safe. I love him!
