Love Blanche Bete and Attrape Reves! The chocolate comes out in the dry down in Attrape Reves and itâs actually pretty strong. I remember one night I was wondering why I smelled chocolate and then remembered I sprayed Attrape Reves earlier and that it has a chocolate note. I was amazed because I donât smell it at all initially. It changes.
But I HATE Possibilities it does not smell good to me at all.
I wore AR all day and couldn't pick out the chocolate! I'm jealous, I love that note!! đ I'm glad those 2 were such a hit for you! â€ïž
It might be due to my mood, the weather, the time of year, or other random factors, but I havenât felt very impressed by much of anything I have tried lately! I was intentionally trying to sample more and slow buy, but despite trying a large variety of scents, I havenât found any new loves recently. I really should declutter but my time, energy, and motivation has been lacking. Iâm sure itâll come back soon enough đ thanks for the reviews!

Mazzolari vanigila is a love for me because its something that lasts a super long time on my skin and its hard for me to find things that last as my skin eats up some scents!! But I totally get why you don't want it as you like your scents complex .Rose is not a note that I think is easy to jive with so when people hype rose scents I am skeptical as hell. I have a delina exclusif sample and I am preparing myself.

My favorite linear vanilla is Escapade Gourmande, its syrupy sugary and had actual staying power! Its my favorite linear vanilla, in addition to Tihota. But I don't own a bottle of Vaniglia, just a decant. I own 2 bottles of Escapade Gourmande. Everyone needs a good straight vanilla, try Escapade Gourmande!
Those were unfortunately some of the vanillas that didn't hit the spot for me, but I'm glad you're enjoying them! â€ïž

I was with you on Possibilities- but I must say the sexiness comes out in the drydown, and the uniqueness. It becomes sultry there. I do own a small bottle, but I still never wear it, so in a way I'm still with you.
I do love Piano Santal but it's not as unique as people claim. It's very similar to Loewe 001 Woman which gets no respect. I have both and blind bought Puano Santal so I didn't quite realize I didn't need it. Anyway the kind of sandalwood I can't deal with is the dill pickle kind, and these two handily stay away from that at least..
Noir Exkeez is the pronunciation! Thank you for trying to be correct. If there is an e after the s on exquis(e)- depending on whether they wrote Noire or Noir, you would say exkeez- no s you say exkee

You should try DUAs Vaniglias Dream..its a mix of vaniglia and idult tihota but the oil concentration is pumped up..super gourmand addictive. also curious if you have ever tried Mercedes Benz club black..its compared to Guerlain SDV but its more straight forward vanilla/benzoin.

Completely understand everyoneâs likes and dislikes. perfume is absolutely subjective to your chemistry and your nose. With that said, I think itâs OK just to have a good smelling perfume. it doesnât necessarily have to blow you away. you get compliments from a good smelling perfume as well. Most people have no clue what theyâre smelling as long as it smells good. But I always enjoy a âblow your mind perfumeâ as a Collector. Thanks so much for your reviews. You have definitely introduced me to some really great perfumes.

Little late for a party but nevermind i hope đ iâve yet discovered Possibilities, someone gifted me a sample, never heard before. For me it is a pure feminine fragrance, sexy and sensual. Really love the way how Louise Turner used pink pepper combined with rose and freesia, spiciness that is so addictive.
So no hype for me, just a love.
I really wanted to love Piano santal but to my nose it smelled very.. alcoholic/perfumy, I don't know there was something off about it. And I didn't get the whole "creamy, sensual, skin like sandalwood" effect, it wasn't bad but definitely not a love. From L'orchestre parfum I really recommend Ambre Cello. This one was a true surprise for me, I really didn't expect to love it as much but damn.. It's a beautiful bergamot/amber/vanilla perfume, very mysterious and sexy but wearable at the same time. The "duality" in this fragrance reminded me of eau duelle (they're not similar in any way expect from this) the freshness of the bergamot and the deeper almost woody amber. A very unique and beautiful amber, and not very talked about in the frag community.
Also, I'm so glad that you like Khamrah, cause I usually have very similar taste than you and I blind bought it, it arrives tomorrow !

It is so interesting that You dislike mimosa note, but like Iris Malikhan - it has very prominent mimosa note. To me it smells like something green, mimosa and smooth leather. Mimosa to me gives it itâs powderiness.
That one is so well blended to me, and I actually donât really pick up on the mimosa in there

I am really considering buying the Tales of Zanzibar, I really like it as well as the coffee smell of the Original. I agree with her about meet me at the Sky. That I seriously didnât like. The opening was great but the dry down was very bitter on me.

I have! It was nice but not a love for me. It smells grown up, mature (not in an old way), classy. I picture a woman in her 30s or up wearing this. She has money. A clean leather, musk, and mainly a fresh tuberose. A slight fresh greenness as well. A white floral bouquet, may be worth a sample if it sounds like your cup of tea :)

Agree with the Le Labo house. I bought a few samples and didnât find anything to like. Rose 31 is especially disagreeable for me since I couldnât quite get past my first impression that it smelled like curry (i find it similar to Frederic Malleâs portrait of a lady, which I didnât care for). Sorry to see hear the Couleur Vanille and Bana Banana donât work for you. I have both in my collection, and experience them differently than you do. I adore Couleur Vanille but I understand what you say about the âdirty marine waterâ đ but I interpret it as a bit of an earthy or dusty aspect and it doesnât bother me.

Piano Santal was a big disappointment for me. Weirdly, I didn't find it very creamy at all. Blanche Bete actually elicited sadness when I first tried it and somehow evokes powdered baby formula.

Thatâs the only one I havenât tried yet, since itâs new, it wasnât a part of the discovery set I bought. Iâm sure itâs nice but with so many people saying it smells similar to Santal 33, I donât need it, I have loads of sandalwoods that are in that family :)
@@AnneLauren Yes with your collection Iâm sure you donât need it. To me itâs most similar to Bois de Balincourt by Maison Louis Marie (which some say is a Santal 33 dup). But I donât have Santal 33 as Iâm not a fan of a leather note. But I love a good sandalwood.

Hi Anna, really enjoyed this! We have very similar taste and dislikes. (we dislike the same notes, Apple, fig, rose, except Delina, almond, and I'll add caramel, coffee, chocolate and cherry to that list đ€ą). I'm very picky đ. I really hope you get your own perfume and maybe go more original and not do gourmand? đ€ Please make Anna's version of Gypsy Water if you get the opportunity, hahaha! đ€€đđ€ đ Take Care!
