    Very dangerous. If you get uneven fork oil, this is one of the reasons why people get tank slaps

      Found it. You use the tool to scrape out the dirt/gunk between the seal and the fork. You can do the same thing with a hooked piece of soft plastic like a key tag.

    I did this by cutting a piece out the side of a thin plastic milk bottle. It worked, seals were good just had crap in them. Still had to do the oil though. it's been a year, I'm still leak free.

    i was told that my right fork seal needed to be replaced when i bought my bike back in december. i don’t really notice any problems still to this day but this is my first bike so maybe i just don’t know what to look for. it definitely leaks oil. is it threatening to my safety to not change it ASAP?

      The biggest concern I say would be oil leaking onto your brakes. You ain’t stopping after that happens

    • @benv51
      @benv51 Před 11 měsíci

      It could leak on ur brakes and make ur brakes not work, also the top comment says uneven oil levels could lead to a tank slapper which is when ur steering goes left to right very violently
