hahahha reported
You already know
4 Rishacher if available and 8 a Kentucky guard whichever is still there
I agree.
Hope He's available at #4. Knecht at #8 will provide instant offense and is a legit 3-level scoring threat..2024 All-American, Mature NBA-ready body, high BB IQ... 23 years isn't old 😂 😂
I'm hoping for one of these combos. Rishacher & Dillingham or Dillingham & Knecht. I think those guys could all be good players for us.
Risacher and Sheppard would be good.
@@MrBlondedevilsame
I am not a fan of Rob Dillingham. At 159 pounds, he is a lightweight, literally and figuratively. Also, the dude plays no defense.
No to Trae Young! Atlanta will want all their picks back and Young has a big salary.
If not for the knee injury, Nikola Topic.
Isaiah Collier would be the next best point guard. Unlike Dillingham, Collier actually plays defense.
I love Risacher and Buzelis. That would be a combo.
in a few years Wimby will be one of the first players to earn 400 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT, DRAFT ONLY, LIKE HOW HISORICALLY THE SPURS BUILT DYNASTS
I agree with you all the way!
@@Bro_Coy Thanks Bro
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Dillingham seems like the nba scorer the spurs need to take pressure off Wemby and Vassell. Then another 3 or 4 to replace champagnie
Maybe when he grows another 6 inches to defend other jumbo guards... 😂 😂
@@ramonpunsalang3397 so if Trae young , Steph curry , kyrie Irving, Jalen Brunson , can make it then he can also .
@@genorivera2207Could add In Mitchell and Maxey too,too many people are underestimating those prospects just because they’re 2 inches shorter than their natural position, but I bet the Uniforms who skipped them regretted it ever since…
@@Leo-nc3yx
Why pay too much for Tyrese Maxey when there is the same in this draft with Dillingham?
Kentucky is not the NBA. 6-1, 159-pound Rob Dillingham is too small to be effective.
Jayden Orozco is COOKED man 😂
Hahaha
Pop doesn't like Trae Young, not sure why people keep harping on him.
Who told you that?
@@sweetnupe8077 Pop, when he coached Team USA and snubbed him entirely, even from the 45 person list. Multiple tines. Watch "Trae Young: A Misunderstood Superstar" and you'll see.
Pop does not like players who refuse to play defense.
@@sarahmccoy1941trae doesn’t “refuse to play defense” 💀 infact he had one of his better defensive seasons this year with atlanta. and pop has played players like bryn forbes, bellinelli, mcdermott, patty mills, even tony parker all players who were pretty bad at defense.
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Spurs can find a vet pg in free agency.. They need to fill out this defense...
When wemby sits things get bad fast ....
That’s what I say I think they should do the same for sign Chris Paul he helped develop shai and book he would be a good addition and mentor
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Not having Chip Engelland really hurts with some of these guys. Should have promoted him internally
look at okc now with chip
not really. while chip is doing great for okc, the spurs trainers are still doing amazing. chip left about 2-3 seasons ago and within that time, the spurs have developed some great players and some good shooters.
jeremy sochan, a project player who was expected to be one of the worse offensive players, has become a serviceable shooter. he went from shooting 24% 3PT last season to about 31% this season. even being able to improve his FT% from 68% last season to 77% this season after the whole “one handed free throw” change-up.
tre jones, who’s usually a player reluctant to take 3’s, improved his 28% last year into a 33% this year. and even within this season, shot 25% until january, and bumped up to 39% after january.
keldon johnson is usually a slasher player who uses his body to make tough finishes. he has even become a serviceable shooter, making 35% of his attempts on about 5 attempts per game.
even a player like devin vassell has improved his shooting. while his percentages haven’t increased (went from 38% to 37%) his shot selection is much more difficult than it was last season and his true shooting bumped up a tiny bit from 55% to 57%
@@anthonymaneclang7440 thanks for the thorough response. Noted, and while you are correct in some ways, specifically with Sohan, I would argue that any small from the field improvements were more from getting better looks this year due to Wemby sucking in defense. Haven't really seen changes to Tre or most anyones form
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
I would really love for Matas Buzelis to get a chance with the Spurs organization. I feel like this environment would help him become a long-term asset. He has a strong drive to work like a madman on things and seeks improvement from an early age. His parents are from Lithuania, a country known for basketball, and I think they had a positive influence on him since they were also basketball players overseas. Buzelis has an unusual story similar to Embiid's, where he was initially a swimming athlete as a child and only started playing basketball later, which helped him avoid bad habits and become more versatile on the floor.
A whole paragraph with nothing relating to basketball or his fit with the ball club.

When it's clear that we are at 4 & 8 in this draft,
I hope Spur to make it happen:
Magic get: Malaki + Graham + Hornet's pick
Wizard get: Zach + No.8 pick + Bull's pick + 2024 Magic's 2rd pick
Spur get: Isaac + Avdija
For Magic,
Every team knows they are a ticking time bomb.
They have too many bigmen,
and too many rookies to extend contracts in few years.
Including Franz.W & Banchero's Max.
Graham is good for their cap space.
Also, we can help them with Hornet's pick for future talents, and Malaki for backup SG who can create his own shoot.
That's what they lack in playoff this year.
For Wizard,
They are looking for another top 10 picks,
no.8 pick seems a good addition.
If they land Topic at 2, and get Clingan at 8,
the starters line could be like this next year:
Clingan/Zach
Kuz/MB3
Bilal
Pool
Topic
And still have 2024 1rd no.26 pick + Magic's 2rd pick.
They may back to top 5 seeds again in 2025's draft board,
Bull's pick will help them getting more advantages.
For Spur,
This season Wemby is often defending two or more guys at same time, he needs some help.
Isaac can defend 1 to 5,
Avdija has solid defense + sneaky-good ISO + a little bit playmaking.
we will play swishing defense on front court sooooo well.
Plus, we can also avoid Wemby losing stamina quickly.
If we go lucky,
we may have the starters line like this:
Wemby
Isaac/ Sochan/mamu
Avdija/ KJ/Sidy
Vassell
Tre
Plus our own 2024 1st pick to backup
Even if we finally go for another PG with Hawk's picks,
this kind of defensive starters line will make it more acceptable.
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
FYI Draft combine gave the real measurement of those prospect (Not Topic or Risacher)
eg. Alex Sarr real height is 6'11.75" without shoes. Not 7'1.
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
I like Matas at 4 and castle at 8 if he falls
We have 2 draft picks and draft two non-shooters. Brilliant.
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
my ideal 2 for the Spurs is definitely Holland and Dillingham, Stephon Castle and Buzelis are up there as well, Risacher is big buyer beware for me, started his year on fire but really struggled after teams started running him off the line and he got found out being really poor creating after that or attacking closeouts, also ended shooting it really poorly for months.
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
great spurs draft overview, rgv stand up. looking forward to more of your coverage, GSG
956! Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Dillingham seems great but taking him at 4 is not the right pick, if Risacher, topic, or Buzelis is available at 4 they’re the logical pick
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
@@robtrejojrnba keep up the great content!
@@russjordan6186 appreciate you!
This is a very concise breakdown of the Spurs draft options. Thanks for the video. We will see if a trade makes sense. So far I have not heard of one that does but the Spurs have a lot of draft picks in the next few years and they have to do something with them.
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Doubt Rishacher will be available, if not I wouldn’t mind Clingan to help our defense substantially and rebounding instead of having Wemby doing everything. Pick #8 I would go Rob/Sheppard or Dalton
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Zaccharie Risacher and Zack Edy....then TRADE 1 2025 1ST Rd pick and both 2024 2nd rd picks and Devonte Graham and Keldon Johnson or David Vassell or Zach Collins for Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso.
Sign free agents C/PF Isiah Hartinstien, PF/SF/C Bol Bol and SF Nic Batum. The defense would be incredible. The balance would be wonderful. The ball movement would be beautiful. Then add snipers.
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Kelel Ware is the big Spurs should take with pick8
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
I see that as well. People might be surprised with the 8th pick.
spurs need to find the next Manu. a warrior who can play both as a starter and as a bench.
Keldon is that guy, need to keep him in that role
@@jhick07 I think not enough for me. his passing ability is lacking.
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
@@hangeulharmony143 that’s additional criteria to a warrior who can play both as a starter and as a bench
Of the likely available at pick #4, Nikola Topic and Zaccharie Risacher are my top choices. Everyone keeps talking Dillingham, but he's just too small and gives up too much defensively. To me, he just seems like he'll be another Devonte' Graham. Really like Dalton Knecht at 8. He's balled it out in college and measuring really well at the columbine. He's an unrated athlete that can shoot. Sure he's a little older than others, but he could undoubtedly he can come in and play right away. My second choice at that pick would be Cody Williams. He's more raw, but there is a lot of potential there if his college play and brother are any indication.
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
This is such a great year for us being the whole draft fits our needs think of these outcomes and think yes they aren't perfect but it's a great addition to a young team:
Risacher 4 and Dillingham 8
Mata 4 and Reed 8
Topic 4 and Ron Holland 8
and maybe we go risky and get Clingan 4 and Cody Williams or Castle 8.
Regardless of the path forward there's no wrong answers just preferences.
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Tra young would be a big mistake, Murray would be a whole lot better especially now having wemby
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Ris, castle would be amazing
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Wanted topic but the injuries he has is not appealing to me.
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Spurs need a Wing and a PG.. if Risacher is available he’s the pick, if not I would choose between Williams and Buzelis. Wemby keeps getting better as a passer so i would stay away from a pass first PG that can’t shoot like Topic.. Dillingham seems like a perfect fit. They could also try and move up, Branham is only 21 and keeps improving, maybe they trade Keldon? I want to see which free agents sign with the Spurs this season.
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
I heard Topic reinjured the same foot recently, is that true?
Yes he does and that concern me if the spurs think of drafting him
It was the same knee
I think the Spurs might pass on him.
@@marco477utep yeah too bad about the knee
@@marco477utep I don't see the Wizards passing on him because of a knee sprain.
Dillingham at 4 if Risacher is off the board. And kinecht at 8
Exactly. Buzelis if neither Knecht or Risacher is available
We need a PG

Bro get to work! Tax payer $$$😂😂😂

Spurs need a big that can punish defenses in the low post.
Or not get punished on D
@@jeffmcclanahan4168 Why, first he's a shot blocker and there's Wemby.

Exactly
I'm not really in the dillingham boat, I would love to see topic in the spurs, in case he is not in our range I would go for Risacher (pronounced: ree sa sheer lol) or maybe buzelis, and with the 8 I would try to get Sheepard, I prefer him to Rob
Yall old heads gotta get a grip, topic cannot shoot hes trash
Topic just reinjured the same injury and can’t shoot to save his life and risacher can’t shoot and play wing lmao the spurs have no point guard and trey jones free agent. Who you want to play guard for victor ? Sochan? Lmao the obvious choice is dillingham! Thank god the decision not up to you man

Matas and dillingham
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Topic just re injured his knee that already took him out for 4 months earlier this season, and it was a non-contact injury… he’s out for the rest of the finals that he was playing.
I’d rather have his playmaking and IQ than dillingham’s shooting for our roster, but this knee injury is kinda worrying…
You only need playmaking if you don't move the ball. Spurs move the ball well (minus TOs) and more than just about anyone. We need people to drain the shots when they get the ball. Ill take Dillingham
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Hell yeah teacher of the year!!! #GospursGo

is dillingham better then anthony black?
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Reed is the best pick at 4. Topic is injured
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Don't believe the rumors on Trae. He's the best player we've had in ATL since Dominique Wilkins and we've never had better attendance at games than we have in the Trae era. ATL isn't dumb enough to move him for anything less than a kings ransom and he doesn't want out either.
We also love Dejounte in ATL, but unfortunately DJ and Trae don't fit together. I think it makes more sense for both sides to try a Murray/Pop reunion. Solves your PG problem and you all could compete sooner rather than later.
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
what did jaden do? lol

Spurs should draft Zach Edey. Hope he falls to the second round.
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
It seems simple to me for the spurs!
With the 4th pick, Risacher if he is available otherwise Cody Williams.
And I'm trying Dillingham in 8th grade.
Teams between 5 and 7 do not need a point guard so you have to try.
And if Dillingham leaves before the 8th pick, I trade with Atlanta for Trey Young or Dejounte Murray around Keldon Johnson and draft picks
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Clingan is the best big man in college basketball but Edy put up 37 points on him???? Ok
Clingan is 2yrs younger though, Edey already 22.

Draft rob dillingham and call it a day
Yep
Thanks for the perspective! I appreciate your input!
Spurs need a guard who can shoot and play make. Mainly shoot! People who say they want topic or one of the other euros don’t know basketball. Topic just injured the same leg AGAIN and it was no contact! Hes obviously injury prone and his stock is dropping. Trey jones a free agent and nobody left that’s a guard shoot over 33 percent. The obvious choice is rob dillingham. I don’t want to hear about heigh without shoes he’s the same height or taller than terry rozier, Trey jones, tj McConnell, maxey, Trae young and more. Please think people
They won’t think
