In this film Andy Beck takes a route over Grange Fell in Borrowdale and not only visits the "Wainwright" top but also several other high points of the fell, some which are unfrequented by many walkers. It's not a long route but it is one which provides rewards of peace and quiet and stunning scenery not too far from the busy town of Keswick.

Thanks for making that clear. I’ll be there in October.
Have a great walk. Thanks for watching
Great video Mr Beck. Fab route too
Thank you Lesley. Brown Dodd is well worth a visit.
We enjoyed that Andy. Thank you 👍
Thank you Ken.
Thanks for the info of how to spot the true Wainwright top Andy. Been up there three times now and never convinced that I had stood on the true top but as I have visited all likely candidates must have at some point! Now I know for next time!
Thanks Eric. Yes there several different tops make it all a bit confusing and even frustrating if you are looking for the highest top or the Wainwright one. I hope this helps in the future.
Walked around there many years ago so good to have a reminder. Fairly central fells and not excessive heights (though beyond my capabilities health wise these days, I'm afraid). Thanks.
Thank you for the comment Phillip. Yes, it just goes to show that you don't have to visit the very high fells for the best views.
You could also include Great Crag in a circular route with Grange Fell, that makes a great day out. Check out my other film: czcams.com/video/4F31eH0o0Bs/video.html
Excellent video again Andy. Love that area and particularly Ether Knott and Brown Dodd although I have only ever come from the Ladder Brow side. Great route and wander and lots of great information as ever. Cheers.
Thank you Don, yes a lovely often overlooked area around Brown Dodd.
