    Hey, I just bought this at a hobby shop online and got it at the post office and brought it home. I tested it and it worked. Next day, tested it again and worked just testing the pressure, no paint. The third time, it wouldnt turn on at all. I have no idea what happened. It's very simple so I guess its a power issue or dud

      The air reservoir holds its pressure for a long time. I've switched it on, heard nothing, and thought it's not working then realised it's fully charged. Otherwise, you're right, sounds like it could be a dud.

    Can i use this compressor for workshop tools? Like pump tyre, or pneumatic tools etc

      I'm not sure. I'd contact the manufacturers. I've not used it for anything but painting.

    Hi sir, do you empty your tank when you are done with painting?

    • @GaudiaCertaminisGaming
      @GaudiaCertaminisGaming  Před 6 měsíci +1

      I normally don't bother, but if you take the air brush off the hose it will drain down really quickly.

    hi , do you have to replace the air filter on the side?

    • @GaudiaCertaminisGaming
      @GaudiaCertaminisGaming  Před rokem

      Hi leather, there are no filters. The closest thing to a filter is a condensing tube that is meant to capture water vapour and help dry out the air going into the compressor. The tube can be emptied, but I've never had to.

    Can this pump up bicycle tires because that's why I got it ??

    • @GaudiaCertaminisGaming
      @GaudiaCertaminisGaming  Před rokem

      I don't see why not, as long as you get the right adaptor on the hose.

      But only to the compressors max psi which will be too low for high pressure road tyres but fine for MTB.

      It depends on the bike. My cannondale tires I inflate to 115psi or around 8bar. But if its just a regular bmx bike or something then it should do it. I believe this compressor goes to 4 bar which is 58psi.

    I just bought one of these AS-186 compressors. Upon unboxing it, I found the water/air filter canister had some dark brown powder in it, I'd guess half a teaspoon's worth. I assume this isn't normal and I probably was shipped a used or returned compressor?

    • @GaudiaCertaminisGaming
      @GaudiaCertaminisGaming  Před 2 lety +2

      That doesn't sound good. Can you pick the dust up with a magnet? If so it might be rust which might not be a good sign. Mine was very clean.

      @@GaudiaCertaminisGaming I did a return through Amazon and bought another one that included a cheap airbrush, hose and paints for only $10 more. This one arrived with no scratches, perfect looking condition, and a perfectly clean water/air canister...so it looks like I was indeed originally shipped a used/returned item.

    Nice video! Do you think it will hold up a 0,8mm needle airbrush at 30-32 psi?

    • @GaudiaCertaminisGaming
      @GaudiaCertaminisGaming  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Lucas. I've no idea I'm afraid. I've only ever used it with a 0.2 needle at around 20psi.

      On Timbertech Amazon Store webpage it claims to be able to handle an airbrush up to 1.0mm needle. So I would assume yes. I'm buying this compressor for my Iwata Eclipse with a .35mm needle and will run it between 25-35 psi.

      @GaudiaCertaminisGaming  Před rokem +2

      It can do if you're spraying non-stop for more than twenty minutes or so, but it only goes on to maintain pressure in the reservoir so it's not on all the time.
