I just love how the office was INSTANTANEOUSLY an overstuffed campaign headquarters, more so with each passing shot. Please Don't Destroy are consistently amazing.

'I don't want to be eternal general' is an awesome underrated line from Molly 🤣🤣
They kind of just used it as a throwaway, but it's so good. Sounded like Jerry Seinfeld saying "I don't wanna be a pirate!"
The absurdity of the line by itself is so amazing, most people would never have the opportunity to be a pirate or attorney/eternal general, but it's being forced on them by fate.
As someone who enjoys watching Steve Kornacki during Election Night coverage on MSNBC, I laughed at the fact that I couldn't tell if S.N.L. really got him to say these things for the sketch or if the show's editors did a great job of faking what he said on Election Night for it.

It’s certainly real and for the sketch, the lines he said could not apply to a real election, the dialogue and acting all look real, and he’s under NBC so it wouldn’t be hard to get him to actually film the bits.

That kid was a standout for me. Great reaction to that line, hilarious line delivery, and he didn't break character when getting hauled off.
2:52 The commentator's terrifying and unexplained ability to teleport made me completely lose my shit. This whole sketch is a fever dream nightmare and I loved every second of it.
Teleportation is on the resumé of any reporter serious about journalism.

This felt like a response/contrast to the rest of the episode, which makes it more interesting. Glad to see more of PDD with the cast and a good use of Molly's energy. Nice to have the teaming of all the people hired in season 47 as well (PDD, Sarah, JAJ).
As an Ohioan, I would have been delighted to give Molly a chance. 😆

After seeing Update end without Molly appearing, I got worried that they're not getting enough screen time, and then lo and behold this brilliant video ends the night. Everyone was terrific, but the pacing and editing of this really shined. Still wanna see Molly slay it on Update soon though!
as an "elder" millenial I am still getting used to the pronoun thing, but *they* have got to be about the best part of this new (sometimes hit-and-miss) SNL cast. Long live Molly Kearney.

Yeah I don't know if they were trying to subvert the Rule of Threes with that one but it seemed prime for a good ol' fashioned punchline. Other than that slightly fumbled opportunity this was solid, surreal political humour is the best kind of satire.

A possible breakout moment for Molly Kearney, and they crushed it. Very funny stuff.
It's this one and the pretaped sketch from the Brandon Gleeson episode where Michael Longfellow, Devon Walker, and Marcello Hernandez talk about how being on SNL is so great, but Molly tells about how Lorne Michaels told them to assassinate Vladimir Putin, which turned out to be an elaborate prank (the line about how the military officers referred to them as "she" and how being in danger is not the best time to correct someone about your pronouns was funny).

I'll assume you're actually referring to all the performers in this sketch, as a non-moronic person would say "she crushed it" if referring to Molly specifically. "They" for a singular person is only appropriate when it's unknown if the person in question is male or female. Example: "Someone is coming in for an interview today and they'll be here at 1:00 PM."
