- Took me long enough but I've finally uploaded my first video!
I've got tons of footage of me renovating my home since we moved in. So naturally I thought I would share the process and see what happens!

Could you share a link to the cabinet you used and the dimensions? Thanks! Trying to find it on Ikea's website.
Sure! I've added links in the description 😊 a tip if you're going to use it for seating - make sure to add one panel of wood across the whole top so that the weight is distributed onto the vertical sides!
We have had this bench czcams.com/users/postUgkxNuLbiXpLQ-mKH5NlyjrNe88hiCk2N3Cg for five years now and it is still holding up strong with minimal signs of wear! So much so that I decided to get another one to store other stuff. The first one is still beautiful, strong and is easy to clean. It’s been in our living room and we store toys and blankets in it and it really holds quite a bit of stuff. I purchased a similar one two years ago from Aldi and let me tell you that one fell apart in less than six months of use. Get this one if you’re looking. Seriously worth it. Five years already and I can’t believe it looks this good and has held up for the price! Awesome bench, the new one I just got is identical.
Amazing job!! I love the end result.
That’s so cool! Do you find its strong enough to support body weight? How to feel about the doors dropping to the ground? I’d probably add a chain or upgrade the hardware to stop before hitting the floor. Good job overall!
Fantastic 😀🤍
BEAUTIFUL
Love this! Is it strong enough to hold weight for seating? Can I add anything to make it real sturdy as I have Island family members and they're not lightweight 😳
Thank you 🥰 A sturdy piece of wood on top is essential as that's what distributes the weight onto the vertical sides of the cabinet. If it's fixed firmly and there's no movement there should be no strain put onto the joints. Mine is anchored in at the bottom base and the walls either side. We've had 2 or 3 people sitting on it at one time and have had it for a year now with no issues if that helps 🙂 good luck with your project!
Can you teach us how you didn’t get any paint on green carpet 😁
I had no idea there was text to read until I accidentally clicked on the closed captions icon. So much info is missed without that because it just looks like you doing stuff with music.
Oh no I thought I had set it to automatically come on. Thank you so much for letting me know!
