- We show the entire Clifton Set in this Antler luggage review. Do you love to pack light, cabin luggage only? Or do you prefer to pack more, making sure you always have everything you need with you? The Antler Clifton has 3 sizes, Cabin, Medium and Large so there is a size for everyone.
We spent 4 years travelling full time with Antler luggage and love to travel carry-on only. Now with an 11-month-old daughter, we may need to rethink that! We took the Clifton Medium bag on a staycation to try it out. See what we think of the Antler Clifton Luggage Set. Our luggage in this video is the colour Taupe.

ABOUT US
Hi, we’re Chris and Mandy, travel bloggers and creators from Australia. Since December 2015, we have been travelling and exploring the world full-time. We usually spend 1-2 months in each place we travel to and love really getting to know a place. One of our favourite ways to get to know a destination is through food, and we share all of our food guides here on CZcams and on our travel blogs. We love to pack light, travelling the past 3 years with carry-on only. On AlmostLanding.com, we share in-depth guides to help you plan the best trip, we often have free printable guides you can download or print out, we’ve created our own travel maps pinpointing our favourite picks for different places so you can easily find everything and make travel planning easy. We have another travel blog all on Bali, AlmostLanding-Bali.com, we’ve spent so much time in Bali and share everything we know and love about this beautiful island. We’ve fallen in love with travel and blogging, and we wanted to create a space for other travel lovers and life dreamers. Thanks for being a part of Almost Landing, and make sure to say hi :)
What's your favourite way to travel? Packing light or packing everything? Hard case or soft? Wheeled or backpack? Would love to know in the comments :) If you want to know more about the Antler Clifton Luggage take a look at our article here: almostlanding.com/antler-luggage-review-clifton/
Thank you, I’ve been trying to find videos about this suitcase because I want to buy them for my trip in December/January to queensland
Thanks so much! Glad it was helpful, we love our Cliftons :) Have a great time in Queensland.
I’ve got the antler luggage and I have to say they are the most durable brand. I have an old antler cabin luggage which I got over 10 years ago, its still looks good as new considering how much I’ve travelled. Recently bought the Clifton one and it’s super stylish and light. Highly recommend!
@@Bubblynoodlez thank you! I took the plunge and bought them! I got the 80cm one and the cabin one in the colour mineral 😊 I’m so excited for them to arrive
I’m moving to Australia for a year would you take the large or medium?
Do you think it's quite heavy anyway? So if you only have a 15kg luggage allowance do you think the weight of this case would be taken into account so therefor you would only have 12kg available for instance? Is it heavy to pick up or does it feel quote lightweight?
Yes the weight of the bag is part of your limit. The bag feels light, and from a few examples I searched, the Clifton is similar in weight to most hard, wheeled, cabin size luggage. There are lighter bags, but there are heavier ones too. Overall a great case :)
I just bought the cabin bag which i love the size of to take in the cabin. but i was wondering whether it could also be used as checked baggage, because sometimes I just want to bring a small suitcase but want to check it in lol.
Yes, you can definitely check it! We have needed to check our cabin bag on a couple of occasions (with our Juno + Juno 2 cabin bags), and am sure we will at some point with our Clifton too :) Enjoy your new luggage...and trip!
@@almostlanding why did you need to check? was it because you wanted to or because the airline said you have to? if so, what airline?
would the cabin bag size fit in ryanair's priority bag size?
I want to buy the Antler Clifton cabin for my holidays because I travel light at the moment. But I’ve heard mixed reviews are these bags holding up okay
Hi Allie, we are counting down to our first international trip with these ones so we will see! I can say that our previous Antler cabin bags (Juno + Juno 2) both held up great :)
Thanks for the video. Assume Clifton replaced Juno2?
Thanks :) Not sure if it is a replacement, but both the Clifton and Juno 2 are great luggage.
Thank you for this review . Really helpful.
Just a quick question, can the compartments and dividers completely be removed?
I am planning to buy one of these but need a completely empty luggage.
Thanks so much :) That means a lot to us. The compartments and dividers cannot be removed, they are part of the luggage. Hope this helps.
The non-zippy-internal side is such a pain. It never holds anything properly. They should have really provided a second internal -zippy thingy. Would you agree?
I’m thinking of purchasing the medium size luggage for a 5 week trip to Brasil next month. I’m wondering if I should do the large size instead 😣
Did you go for the medium or bigger one im having the same dilemma medium or large for a trip to Thailand
Dont want a massive case thats awkward to travel with but dont want a case thats too small and the price difference isnt that great
@@bigtony4829did you bought the large or medium in the end ?
Hi, I am a bit confused. I just bought the clifton based on this review but it doesn't have an expandable zip? any help?
Hi Nick, sorry you have had that experience. Hope you can get this resolved. I have checked all three of our Cliftons and they all have expandable zips. On the Antler website
www.antler.com.au/products/clifton-suitcase-set-taupe
it also shares the ‘packing capacity’ and ‘expanded capacity’ in all sizes, as well as stating, bags have ‘expander zips’. I would check with the place you made the purchase or reach out to Antler directly.
I have seen the same. The cabin bag doesn’t have an expandable zip, it even says on the website that only medium and large do. I’m not sure whether they send expandable versions out to reviewers? But 100% (even on the link) the cabin bag doesn’t have the expandable zip
how do you find the white luggage? does it stain easily? if yes is it easily wipeable?
It does stain and it is not easy wipeable I use the pink stuff and a sponge to remove the stains x
The design is bland compared to Samsonite . Also prefer a 75 cm large bag , Antler large is 81 cm I think ?
Samsonite are twice the price
