  • Recipe: adventuresineverydaycooking.co... On busy days when I forget that the other humans in my house need to eat, I often throw frozen meat into my pressure cooker to get dinner on it's way--well before I actually decide what I'm making. In this video, I take you through an actual evening this happened and the process of frozen meat to your belly in a little over 40 minutes (including pressurizing time).
    Frozen Ground Beef in the Pressure Cooker: Place rack on the inside of your pressure cooker. Add 1 1/2 cups of water. Place frozen chubs on wire rack inside cooker. Seal lid, seal valve, and set on high pressure for 26 minutes. Natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then release remaining pressure. Crumble beef as you would for your ground beef recipe. This recipe works for up to 2 lbs of ground beef in the 6qt cooker, and 4lbs in the 8qt cooker. Do not stack the meat directly on top of each other.
    Quick Thai Rice Bowl
    Ingredients:
    * 5 teaspoons Thai chili paste (like Sambal)
    * 5 teaspoons Thai fish sauce
    * 5 teaspoons white sugar
    * 2 tablespoon soy sauce (soy free works great)
    * 6 cloves of garlic, minced
    * 1-2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
    * Canola oil
    * 16oz of ground beef
    * 3 small baby bok choy, chopped into small bite sized pieces (cabbage, kale or spinach can be substituted)
    * Salt
    * 4 large eggs
    * Brown or white rice
    Directions:
    Cook your rice according to the package directions (or use leftover rice). In a small bowl, whisk together sugar, chili paste, fish sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and crushed red pepper. Heat a large cast-iron skillet or wok over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of oil and swirl to coat. Add the ground beef to the pan and stir-fry until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat. Add the sauce to the beef and stir fry for a minute or so. Remove meat mixture from pan. Add 1 Tablespoon of oil to the pan again and add in your bok choy. Season with salt and stir fry until crisp-tender. Add bok choy to the beef mixture. Add a little more oil to the pan and swirl to coat. Turn heat to medium and crack all of the eggs into the base of the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for two minutes then cover your pan and cook for 1 minute or until the eggs are to your desired doneness. To serve: Place rice in a bowl Place beef mixture and bok choy mixture on separate sides of the bowl. Top each bowl with an egg and extra chili sauce.

    How did you like the imperfect produce delivery? Been debating if if should try it for months. Do you think it was worth the cost and was it all edible. Thank you and I love your videos💙💜

      Well... I'm on the fence. It's nice to have it delivered but I'm not always the happiest with what I get for my value (I'm a budgeter). However, if you email and tell them what was wrong, they are usually very good about crediting your account. So, that is good. They are def worth a shot. Every area has a different set of packers and facility, so me reviewing your local imperfect wouldn't be accurate.

    Lol - my wife and I have MANY times dropped $100 on groceries and then had to order take-out by the time we put everything away 😂
