- Buona sera i miei amici! Gregsynth is here to show yet ANOTHER Queen concert for all of you wonderful people! This is the Queen's first concert in Italy, and the first of two consecutive nights (I will upload the 9/15/1984 gig next)! The quality is great (Around an A rating), and Queen plays excellent as usual. Although Freddie is in pretty good shape vocally, it is clear that the years of touring, smoking, and the worsening nodule problem have damaged his voice: He is really starting to get into the "oversinging" problem where he would begin to yell/shout or bark out some of the higher notes to hit them. As a result, he sounds deeper and more powerful, but at the expense of any sweetness and clarity he had before. That being said, that certainly doesn't take anything away from Freddie's voice. or this concert. This concert features the last performance of "Staying Power" (It's dropped because it is very difficult to sing on a touring schedule), and poor Brian is the victim of a string break (around the ending of Keep Yourself Alive). Freddie and Roger gives Brian some time to get another guitar by doing a very neat improv!

I think there was an audio problem, because at 3:04, Deacy's mic sounds louder than the other one's, anyway he doesn't sound bad at all, he even sings better than Bad Bunny or Kanye West
I'm not sure it's true, but I heard the techs turned his mic up as a prank. Because he's not the strongest singer and was always really insecure about his voice. Whatever, I don't care. Being a good singer, especially in a rock band, isn't always about having perfect pitch. You can hear in this how into the song he is, how much energy and joy he seems to be putting into performing and that's just as good.
This was no mistake this was a blessing

Came here from another video to hear deaky. His mic 🎤 is up at 3:02 and you can really here him😁 and he sounds good!! Some people can sing if singing along with others but can’t sing by themselves. I think that’s Deaky but his voice isn’t bad at all. I like it!! And here he sounds more like the lead singer...go Deaky!!

Haha when you hear Deaky miced up as high as he is in this concert, where it's almost as high as Mercury's, you hear that he's really not bad... just that the three other members were all very great singers... so it would be hard to beat them! So yeah, he wasn't as good as the others... that doesn't mean his voice was bad! ;) Competing with three master vocalists isn't really easy, you know... ;)

go john deacon he wasnt actually that bad at all he thought his voice wasnt good as the other 3 members. what would of happened if john joined in in the harmonies? they would of been still sucessful. i like their stuff live but ive always prefered the studio versions. freddie used his range more often. he saved his range for live shows
