This has to be one of the best live versions of Radio Gaga and it’s not just cause Deacy’s singing. Freddie does some phrasing that I haven’t really heard live, plus the synth sounds really cool in the background.

I called him a "not so innocent cinnamon roll" because many female Queenies (name for a Queen fan) see him as innocent or pure (I am not one of those types of Queenies) and that he should be protected at all costs despite him having six children and having written "Misfire." Many either don't realize this or neglect to remember this. I see him as a cinnamon roll in the sense that his hair in the 80's reminds me personally of the food item.
He was able to sing, I'm sure. Okay, he wouldn't be the best singer, but I don't know, they could have made a slow song which wouldn't require a lot of talent. Although we don't know, we can't forget that Queen has some "secret" which we know that exist but no one ever heard, like Batteries Not Included that the rumors say that Brian or John wrote it. I know that the chance is little, but this song was recorded in News Of The World, Queen was getting higher and John was more confident as he started writing some masterpieces like You're My Best Friend from A Night At The Opera and also Spread Your Wings from News Of The World the same album as the unreleased song. If someone has something to add, it'd be really nice.
I feel like if Freddie was still alive, or lived longer that is, John would've at least tried a solo song with Freddie's influence, but I guess we'll never know. He's definitely a strong songwriter, but I can't say he wouldn't have been much more than a mediocre singer. You and I is a masterpiece he wrote.

I think John didn’t want to sing because a) he’s a shy, introverted man and didn’t want all the attention on himself and b) if you had Freddie, Roger and Brian all singing.... how do you compete with that?
