naw man, be happy. he lived his dream til the day he died just like he said he would, the gravity isn't cuz he's lost, it's cuz he nailed it. all mac millers stuff hits different now not cuz he died but because he became what he said he would, what he said he was, all of his early shit was like trust me, i'm fly, but by the end he didn't even have to say it, he just was. he went from pretty fly for a white guy to more real than realist.
and addiction didn't kill mac miller. a society with an unsafe drug policy killed mac miller. if things were regulated and stigma was eliminated, there would be no shady assholes selling fentanyl laced pills, nor people going to them when they wanted to change how they felt in a moment. No one ever has to die from opiate overdose, and people still do, that is the tragedy.
