I always found the rarity argument stupid. This isn't a game lile WoW with a thriving resale market where you can make big bucks from having rare items. As for treating cosmetics like trophies, I don't think they really require that much work. All they really show is that you grinded a little bit during a certain time, it's not like a ranked award.
Begs the question of if they SHOULD create a resale market honestly
I would agree to yes because there's some people who miss out on certain battle passes with certain characters in them that they can't get back anymore such as spider-gwen or iron Man or classic spiderman

As someone who has almost all the battle passes I would not care if they resold some or let people finish them is they couldn’t make it to tier 100 or they could sell battle pass items individual in the shop but for a higher price
As someone who has all cosmetics I would be so down for people to be able to obtain these because it’s 5+ years of content you cannot and will never be able to obtain ever

I wish more game companies took the 343 path when it comes to the battle pass. After experiencing halo infinites battle pass I feel so used by other game companies because we payed money to get fomo and it’s BS and it’s are fault and epic and other companies are going to keep doing it because they know we are going to keep buying fomo
Adding on they should also probably allow people to finish past battlepasses that they either bought previously or played during the time it was out, in case if they never finished them and got everything. Not everyone has time on their hands to grind out for virtual cosmetics.
I might be late but I have basically the same idea of excluding the superstyles for reasonable levels of exclusivity.
What I had in my version of the idea though is that the sets are available in the shop for a certain amount of time and don't come back for at least 30 days so *most* of the babies stop whining about "earning" their digital cosmetics they don't even own instead of buying it for a higher price later on like mini pass stuff does. Y'know, instant gratification by paying a small amount of money + putting in play time instead of waiting a year like both of our suggestions.
I have a question for people (as some one who owns a good deal of battlepass skins) why do you care if they do come back is it like you wear all those skins religiously? Or do they just sit in your lockers to collect dust? While I get the limited battle pass exclusive issue I have to wonder why exactly aside from "rare skin I own" I mean I have a skin and my friend doesn't and cant get I would be fine with it returning just so they can be happy.
As a community we to evolve with the game not stick to something that's never changing. Trust me I get the argument for both sides and Im curious.

I've been asking the same damn for example me I used to own season 2 cleared to chapter 3 the only battle pass I didn't have was chapter 2 season 4 because I was going to vacation with my family but my account got hacked so I don't have it no more I had a lot of rare skins I had iconic the OG Galaxy Black Knight and I do not care if they come back because I don't have my main account no more because I want them back even though if I did have my main account I would not care I want people to join these games like you said these people care about these cosmetics latest stay in their locker don't even or they just flex them and party Royale they don't even play the game like it's supposed also for the people that don't want these cosmetics to they want to keep scamming people so they can get easy money that's the reason why they these people don't want the old battle passes to return because it'll make people not want to buy accounts so they can't scan people I just don't get it to me I want old battle passes to return I spent all that hard money and my account gets hacked people learn though all these people if they ever lose their account they're going to want this s*** back to
@@batmanrise4737 nine times out of ten these people only wear sweat skins with a sweat pickaxe I can't even name the last time I saw someone wearing a Guggiemon or a Prowler skin in any game mode it's all ways black knight, Travis Scott (I know its not battle pass), or some sweat skin like God forbid let people come to this game get the skin they love and let the game grow the more people the game has the better stuff we get out of it
Well they were advertised as limited time exclusives that won't come back so if they did i would be pretty mad considering i grinded a lot for these skins

I really want the season 8 tier 100 skin because i was quite young at the time and i had a little bit of a hard time leveling up you know i think tho they should Add special styles to all the skins that they release.

Yes they should, like I've been playing since season 3 but I was a kid and couldn't buy anything. First battlepass I got was season 7 and I'm still mad I missed out on drift just because my parents didn't want to get me it haha

My first battle pass was also season 7 but I didn't finish it and I wish they would let me finish cuz I want skins like the ice king:(
What about crew skins like Galaxia and Joni? They could bring them back into the item shop but give past owners new legacy styles new crew skins get these days
Originally they were supposed to come back to the point where Galaxia even has item shop assets but idk what happened with that.

Yeah that's probably the best bet if epic decides to release old battle pass skins in the shop.
They definitely should cost double the amount based on it's rarity. None of the legendary battle pass skins should be below 3000 VBucks if they return in the shop. Yes it would be incredibly expensive but these are incredibly rare skins that were marketed in the past as exclusive so if one point in the future they decide not to make them exclusive anymore people still have to fork over a good amount of money due to it's value.
Like i think a BP midas bundle should average around 3500 to 4000 VBucks
If they do like a Drift and catalyst bundle, it should not be lower than 4000 vbucks.
But if you just buy the Old PB skins individually no bundle, then i think 2800 vbucks for each is fair
Idk if I would go as far as that price for the individual skins as 2,000 Vbucks is already more then 2 Battlepasses but yeah the bundles will be expensive as whole battlepasses will probably cost around $200 USD for shop prices
They should only bring back collab skins and sell them like 5000 vbucks apiece
@@zenon215 I actually thought of a great way for epic to release it old battle passes without releasing them in the shop.
The method would be that they added a new option to a current season's battle pass called the
"Secondary Pass"
This option let's you pay an extra 950 VBucks on top of the 950 you paid for the current pass to let you choose ONE previously released battle pass from older seasons from C1S2 - C5S1 for you to grind out and claim the rewards from it along side the current season's pass.
You can only choose one older battle pass to grind out for each season. When that season ends with that seasons battle pass that goes away so will the old pass you bought will go away.
If you failed to grind it out you can just choose it again next season but you'll Have to buy the next season's battle pass on top of forking over another 950 to get another shot of grinding it out.
This method will is probably the best way to have it were people can get skins they missed out on while not devaluing the battle pass. Actually this method gives EVEN more incentive to buy the battle pass each season.

I agree with that I see that also the thing is people don't understand if you ever lose your account you can't get these cosmic back so the people that cares about gatekeeping just think about it if you ever lose your account you ain't never getting these games back for example I lost my account I had season 2 Clear to chapter 3 season 1 and I lost my account because I got hacked the only battle pass I missed out one was chapter 2 season 4 cuz I was on a vacation with my family these cosmic should return and to be honest I actually want to hear infinite version because I want to grind this game I love grinding game when you reach level 200 it's boring right now I am waiting I want to play fortnite but I am waiting until the the 23rd of this month so I can get the styles the super styles cuz I'm already a level 170 and I want to grind and earn something but why I'm playing game so to me I actually want them to bring back old bad passes and make a table where you can buy the current by the past and you can work on the old ones while you're just playing the game like it makes you grind this game more it makes you want to play more black epic says they want you to play more right so bring back the old battle passes

I think a "good middle ground" would be, make Old BP Missed skins available for those who boughr it but never finished it. How said skins would be unlocked idk but those people arghing about rarity this would be a way to NOT make those skin less rare

If every BP skin got a rerelease I would be more inclined to agree but there's characters like Darth Vader that have no rerelease at all, and that even I see an issue with even though I have that skin personally.

They should bring all battle passes crew packs and mini pass past chapter 1 and let us vote on what we want from chapter 1 bps so no one is mad something og returns username blissfullfam8❤❤
And should make the item shop a search bar so we can search what we want even if it’s not in the item shop but still make it a shop so we can see the new things and not just a search bar
