I love how Cain is so nice and cooperative even the SCP foundation lets him just wonder around as long as he don't fuck with plants, which is something he doesn't like to do anyway as he knows what effect he has. This is probably Cain's thought process when at the SCP site.

You have just encountered SCP - 30604, a seemingly innocuous video on the internet that has the power to hold your attention for more than three hours. This seemingly harmless video details multiple other SCPs many of whom you may have heard of before. Other than taking over three hours of your time and appearing repeatedly in Playlist and recommended feeds the video has no other anomalous effects other than leaving small pieces of itself throughout the internet with details about other SCPs the foundation has encountered. Some people who encounter SCP 30604 or one of its fragments claim to be compelled to watch other videos on SCPs but this is mostly contributed to boredom mixed with curiosity rather than any anomalous effect of 30604, but due to its life on the internet allowing it to spread endlessly with no hope of containment it has been awarded a unique class of Safe Ketter, meaning that while impossible to contain it is harmless to those that encounter it, we at the foundation just strongly suggest that you do so in moderation.

The Young Girl got me thinking: When she was cursed to cause violent rage to anybody, someone or something must've cast a boon which protects her from harm.
an interesting spinoff of 055 could be an SCP that as long as you aren't directly observing it, you can remember it. however, once you start observing it, all previous memories of it vanish until you've stopped observing it

idk why I'm rewatching this but I've always known a simple counter to scp 173 is blinking individual eyes.
not hard or complicated, but with the stress of the scp you could still mess up on accident and fail, but the concept is valid. I'd willingly or unwillingly test it.
This is a lot harder than it sounds, my other eye gets watery and sometimes blinks outside of my control when I try that, and that's in a non-stressful environment

CZcams is a new thing, the SCP foundation originally is 100% text based horror genre, allowing people to try their creativity and that's why some are wildly different in quality to others and why very few have a connection to each other.

I fell DEEEEP into the SCP rabbit hole a while ago while reading the entry for SCP-682. I remember it taking like a week to read the entire entry because I was going on tangents and reading all the articles for the other SCPs and the sub content of their articles to better understand the main page’s logs on what was used to try and destroy it. Honestly the whole site has become a master-class in creative writing!! Honestly the SCP universe is just so impressive to me with how detailed some users get on their reports and additional information they include. Became a complete obsession for a while trying to read as much content as I could about so many SCPs because every page was so detailed! I have a super deep love for the SCP universe so watching this was really awesome when I could tell myself “oh yeah I know that one!” lol I absolutely lovedddd the animation for the interaction between 053 and 682, that was one of my favorite logs ❤

Safe class in Foundation terminology does not mean not-dangerous. It means its easy to reliably contain with minimal resources

Someone should make a butterfly path game of the SCP universe. Imagine being hired as a researcher w/ level 3 clearance to conduct procedures using D class personnel.
Success for each experiment leads to promotion of level clearance to ultimately riskier tests and SCP’s in general.
Failures lead to demotion straight down to D class, where your only way back to a researcher is to survive the experiments.

The fact that SCP-682 automatically adapts to its surroundings and to any stimuli at all is alarming. However, the thing I find most alarming is that either the young girls aura of murderous insanity calmed it and made it docile, which is startling in its own right, or it somehow instantly adapted to the introduction of the young girl and knew not to attack it otherwise it would die. I think the latter is more disturbing simply because of what can be implied from it.
A test was performed with scp-49, who thought that the lizard also was infected, touched it and -shouldve - killed it instantly, like with everything else, but it didn't. Meaning that the lizard is either actually immortal or there's just a massive plot hole
Honestly they could do an entire video on various SCP interactions with 682 and it would be worth watching the entire thing no matter how long it was.
Seems more likely that 682 was pacified, judging by the exceptionally murderous rampage that 682 went on immediately after separation from the girl.

I figured SCP 4335 out as soon as you said "why is constant feeding of items necessary to it's containment."
It's not an SCP entity at all, it's a preteen boy with a competent knowledge of modding/hacking the game, and unlimited access to his parent's credit cards.

Love the long videos! The narrator is amazing and does a really great job of creating a scary atmosphere.
I personally don't like the animations, since it takes away from that exact atmosphere and gives me more silly vibes, but I don't mind it much. I anyways listen to the video more than watching it. I just wish that the silly sound effects weren't there. They really don't match the narrators voice. Maybe that's just my opinion tho!

A perfect example of how a story line is very important, with a basic art style to make the animations quick to meet time frames, that's great thinkin.
SCP Explained is the most terrifying and while I'd love to explain why, I can't.
I don't watch horror stuff but i LOVE these and i love the extremely intricate lore and explanations.
There is a certain terror often associated with the unknown. This is sometimes the case with SCPs, when entities are not well understood. However, perhaps even more frightening, are threats that you know much about their nature, but know that you can do nothing to stop, or perhaps even to avoid.
I get what you're saying, but this chanel makes it more scientific, rather than scary ,so it's my favourite, since I'm realy bad with scary stuff

The fact that 096 topped the list did not surprise me at all. He is pretty much immortal and extremely dangerous. But then again, I'm pretty sure that a blind Class-D would make good friends with him.

I don't think thia is a countdown of who is more dangerous. After all, Apollyon class scp's are scarier and have more world-ending consequences than any of these scp's. There are antimemetic scp's much scarier and more dangerous than 055.

Yo, so for SPC-049, he says something around the lines of "lack of imagination", so what if that's sort of what he uses to kill, or take items out of his bag? So if he imagines someone dying of some type of disease, they actually die from that disease? Maybe his anomalous power is his imagination.

Same one day my autoplay landed casually and coincidentally on this channel and I thought it was goofy and that it would end within 5 minutes, but it kept going and going to the point I realized it was actually going in depth into detail and I couldn't help but feel immersed and intrigued.

SCP-096 is definitely the most dangerous in my opinion. If it's bone structure is indestructible then nothing could potentially kill it. The Devourer of worlds wouldn't be able to take it down once seeing its face. If they are both immortal then it would be an unending fight.
i doubt it, 096 has a limit. If you read the experiments done with SCP-682, the foundation put 096 against 682 and both of them foaught for 27 hours and both were severely wounded, and 96 was mentally scared, so that further testing with the two ends up with 96 jumping up and down while scratching its own face and screaming. you can find this in the tests to kill 682, its a really interesting read.

Scp 055 is a unknown scp that if you think about or try to write about will blank you out into not knowing what or who it is.

I’ve even seen people who had the audacity to compare covid to the Black Plague, which even with modern medicine is an 80% mortality rate at it’s lowest with some strains nearing 100% lethality. Yet here we are shutting everything down and cowering in fear over .2%. And yea Ebola was FAR worse but America didn’t care because it was mainly Africa that was affected
