I have my last loop interview left. Irrespective of the outcome, watching your videos has made the recruiting process enjoyable and I’ve actually learnt more about myself while preparing for it. Thank you so much!
Great advice. Excellent delivery. I'm currently an L4 Assistant Manager in at a warehoue/delivery station. These videos are extremely valuable and have been instrumental in helping me prepare for the L5 Area Manager position i'm about to sit for tomorrow!
In Spain we use CV or Curriculum (as a short version of Curriculum Vitae). Also, thanks a lot for your tips!! I've got my final interviews next week and I now feel much more confident (it's for a Grad position, but I believe I can get it)!
@@amazoninterviewwhizzdayone503 oof I think I bombed my second screener, I was doing great then lost my footing, it was esp difficult 1:1 as she never went on camera, (L6) and I need visual cues to communicate best esp when meeting someone for the first time, but I have 0 excuses, my nerves got the best of me. AWS or not, I'm grateful for your channel job searching is lonely and you make it better! 😭
Dear GG, you are so good, I enjoy while listening and learning from your great experience. We use both in Bosnia, CV and Resume, it is both foreign words for us so we do not care as long as we understand each other :) keep moving.. thumbs up..
Good to know. A thought exercise…When does a foreign word become a not foreign word? CV is Latin and Resume comes from a combination of old French and Latin. And yet they are now English words….language is a crazy thing. Welcome to the channel.

AAAAND thumbs up for me that literally now after by BR interview I randomly came up on CZcams with this video. Interesting the part of only 2 LP for each story, I came up with one in which I addressed 3 or 4.. hope not having bombed that. Great channel, you and ScarletInk have made my journey to the loop much easier. Hope to drop you an email soon to thank :)
It’s great to have an example that touches on multiple LPs- you just need to ensure it has 1 dominant one so you can really land the behaviours they’re specifically looking for with the question they’re asking. Good luck
@@amazoninterviewwhizzdayone503 I hope that. BTW Just closed now my loop, what a tough experience but hey, it’s a hell of a company, never seen 5 people so focused and commited on evaluating someone. As said, GG and people of CZcams, join me in crossing the fingers and landing me the job!
Hey GG! Just discovered the channel because I have an upcoming Chime interview for an entry level Area Manager role and am loving the content! I am a recent college graduate, should I try to come up with a story for each of the 16 principles? Also, should I try and and make multiple stories for each principle? I only have 2 interviews for reference.
While attending Interview through chime online and thoughout the interview loop, is it mandatory to look at camera and speak or is it fine to look at the screen and answer the responses?

Hi there. I’m afraid I can’t tell you this information. Different teams do it differently. You should ask your recruiter. Yes you can go to 10min for your story but make sure it’s all specific, relevant detail.
Hi Gigi.... I have watched Ur videos and given my Amazon loop interview. Out of three interviewers one I didn't do well .. can U explain what it takes to clear the final step of interview
Hi GG, thank you for the insights and really appreciate your work. I have my hiring manager interview next week and was wondering whether I can repeat the stories in loop if I succeed. Thanks LT
I am a recent grad who got the opportunity to interview for an entry-level role. Considering I only have a few internships and professional experiences, is it okay to use academic or personal stories for some of the principles I do not have a professional example of? (Of course, nothing too personal, but situations that are applicable such as learning new languages or moving countries for college, etc)
I prepared all week and the interview went more poorly than any other in my life, and I’m 43……..how come all the managers conducting these interviews are 22 years old and barely started working………super poorly conducted interviews at my facility
Amazon interviewers can easily find out.. because in all my interviews my stories were long enough to describe so it's obvious that my stories cannot be in one page document on written assessment. So if the interviewer deeply understands this I am sure he will know that it was an original draft and that's why it's 2 pages.
@@rajalakshmiperumal8272 I’m sorry this makes no sense to me as logic. Interviewers aren’t thinking about how many pages your interview answers would be, if you’d written them down. The average written sample in my experience is 2 to 2.5 pages long.
@@rajalakshmiperumal8272 the sample gets attached to your profile in the ATS. They’d either have needed to integrate a tool within the ATS to screen for AI (which is a lot of work) or individual recruiters would have to own running a hundred odd samples a week through a stand alone tool (which seems like a massive load). I don’t have insight if either of these things is happening but both options do feel like a heavy investment. Even if they did those things there’s still no real advantage in knowing you didn’t write yours in AI when others did. You’re not being compared to other people as it’s a first past the post process.
I reference Europe not the European Union (EU). Europe is a continent. The UK has not changed location on the map and joined a different continent. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
I don’t think anyone really enjoys it. If anyone could come up with a better way that didn’t have legal or commercial risks, I’m sure companies would be all ears.

If you only have 2 interviews try to get your recruiter to narrow down the LPs for you
While attending Interview through chime online and thoughout the interview loop, is it mandatory to look at camera and speak or is it fine to look at the screen and answer the responses?
There’s no mandatory. You’re just trying to have a conversation with someone. In my experience most candidates look at the screen. That’s fine.

It won’t vary materially from the normal interview process

Yes that’s fine. It’s well understood Grads will need to reference non-professional experience
