Do you know if the quick connects on the high pressure side of the fuel pump are the same between models? My feed looks ne blew in my 04 liberty and i can only find 05 parts.

Should use a brass punch on that sending unit ring. Steel on steel can make sparks

Access the fuel pump buy pulling the carpet back and remove 4 screws in the access panel you do not need to remove the gas tank

Only the earlier models had that access panel in the back. The ones from I believe 2004 and onward got rid of that panel under the carpet making it impossible to do without dropping the tank
