The Blazing Beats of Saturday of the Fires: A Musical Celebration

Only a stone’s throw from Mount Vesuvius, Mount Somma is the outer ridge of the iconic volcano in Campania, Southern Italy. For millennia, a mighty celebration begins on the first Saturday after Easter and features the magic of traditional music, dance and drumming from the region.
