I have an idea for your videos, there should be some sort of background music (copyright free ofcourse) it would add a layer of interest to the coins you discuss. Great video, learned lots of new things, keep these video coming 👍
What a great informational video, glad to see you're back mate! I don't really know too much about Roman coins (or really any ancient coins for that matter!) But am always interested on knowing a little bit more about such coins.
Though Caesar was the first Roman to place his own portrait on his coins, the practice of a living ruler doing such a thing became popular during the Hellenistic era, when Alexander's generals sought to establish their domains. Nevertheless, for Caesar to display his own likeness, as opposed to glorifying the gods or one of his ancestors, which had been customary for Roman moneyers until that time, doubtlessly added to the Senate's suspicions of him.
Lovely coin of one of the world's most important characters! Thats one of the neat things about collecting ancient coins, you might have a coin that is not in the best of conditions, yet it is loaded with such historical significance that it is still highly desirable.
Thanks mate! Something I think I’ll end up collecting and researching one day ☺️ hoping the Roman coins do well. Any help with promotion is always appreciate my friend 😎
Welcome to the JC club :) I posted my two I own, and similar condition.
Thanks, always enjoy your videos

Hi, Julius César was not an emperor but a dictator, the first emperor was his heir Octavian as you said.
Thank you! I realise that not after making the video. Just shows my knowledge of the romans! 🤣
@@TheHammeredCorner one could say that Octavian coined that name 🥁
Wow. That is fascinating, and something I hadn't known before. Great 👍
Thanks mate!

Julius Caesar was never actually proclaimed an emperor or took that title.
Typo in 'Caesar' in the title. Interesting video :-)
Well spotted! Thanks matey ☺️
@@TheHammeredCorner No worries. I just didn't want it to adversely affect views as your vids are really well done!
@@trip83 thanks buddy. That’s really kind of you 🤓
Can you find me a Richard III groat at a god price?
Nice coin, first of all Julius Caesar was not an emperor
Julius Cesar was never Emperor, so at the beginning of the video you say a coin the Emperor may have touched is technically wrong
When are we getting more videos?
