Nice find! I once found a working IBM PCjr on a curb at the trash, restored it and flipped it on eBay. Unreal what people throw out.

Lovely little TV (now turned monitor) It seems to be very versatile. Great find!

Nice score! And we have the same thing here where stuff is left at the curb for free pickup.

How is the trip my friend? And what a great find! It's a great good looking tiny TV I love it.
You Germans even take good care if you rubbish, by putting it nicely in a plastic bag. You don't see road side finds like that here in NL anymore. It's deemed an environmental act of crime if you put it next to a dumpster to be picked up. You need to either have it removed or bring it to the city recycling center. Which is a shame because in the past you'd find some nice little weird things. For example I had some old VHS tapes that I wanted to archive and didn't want to buy a VHS player. So I found one back in the early 2000s did the copy work to DVD and then brought it to a thrift store because it was in perfect shape.

It's the same here ... but in my neighbourhood people just do it anyway. Back in the day when I was a kid we had something called Sperrmüll. It happened once every three month and everybody would put the stuff he wanted to trash on the street. That's how I got my first BMX bike. Build it from stuff other people had thrown away. Me and my friends would meet in the afternoon and roam the streets until the early morning finding cool stuff. These were the good times. I really miss that.

@@RetroWK It's so hilarious that kids every where are the same. We did the same thing, roam for good garbage. Make soap car racers and treehouses from it. And from old radios we made police receiver by compressing the primary oscillator coil. Because up to the mid 90s the cops just used 87MHz unencrypted. You could just hear the portos calling to the main station.
And indeed hunt for parts to "pimp" our bikes.
It's a shame that kids these days don't roam outside as much and be so creative and resourceful.

    yeah, sometimes we are lucky.
I scored an JVC TM-1750PND last year in a thrift-store for about 12,50 euro's with no burn-in whatsoever, in great condition.
but yeah, when a friend of mine came by at my place I allready expected his reaction, "what are you doeing with that old piece of crap." I asked him how old he was and instead I kicked him out of my door LOL . no just jokin' but not many will understand us anymore. sorry to say.
