peach bars:
dough:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup coconut oil or butter (softened)
1 large egg
1 cup oats
filling
4 cups chopped fruit
2 TBSP cornstarch
1/4 cup sugar
juice of 1 lemon
combine all the dough ingredients EXCEPT the oats, and beat in a stand mixer for 1-2 minutes. take half the dough mixture and press it into an 9x9 inch pan. combine the filling ingredients in a separate bowl and pour over the dough. add 1 cup of oats to the remaining dough and mix until the oats are incorporated. sprinkle the oat crumble over the fruit. bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes until the top is golden - Zábava

Same here. This is my dream life and it hurts that I can't even try to make my dream come true, most of the times the closest I get to nature is through off grid vids. They are so blessed but don't know how truly blessed they are
I understand and agree but also i can see the other perpective. Everyone goes through their own stories through life. People that lives in "ideal", nature off grid farms as we dream of - it doesnt mean they dont face lessons and hard times in their life. We are all Human and life is giving lessons to all of us. Place that we live in or dream job that we have doesnt change our inner state. We all need to learn how to appreciate what we have, who we are right now.

@@HalinaKrystynaSzczesna yes that right everyone is going trough a hardship but it's a human nature that he focuses on what he doesn't have a ignores what he does have, and for us who lost there health and chronically are constantly aware how blessed we were and how blessed a lot of people are. People take health and peace for granted. That's why truly riligious people never complain cuz they're always reminded in thier book how they have been blessed by God. And truly I don't mind my situation it's a test from God and He promised the pientent ones paradise and forgiveness so im always reminding myself of his blessings. We need to know gratefulness so much deeper than most people think. Thank you for your kind words have a great day ♥️

Not sure if this helps. But I felt a tug on my heart when I read the comment. I too was bed ridden from being sick. I know we all have different stories. But I found @iamjenmann and she has a whole program on your nervous system and rewiring your brain for people that are extremely sick and bed ridden. Not sure what your sickness is. But just wanted to share. I got my life back with her and am living a normal life now. and thousands of others have healed too 🙏🏼 God bless.

Isabel definitely has a meditative quality to her videos that explore the deeper meaning of life ...as well as gardening, cooking, sewing, etc. Haven't watched her in a while & I'm so glad she has found an equally creative young man to spend her life with. Her videos are of course "curated" & edited as some seem to complain above ...but isn't that what we do with our lives themselves ...curate & edit what we will do, read, watch, pay attention to, strive & work for, etc., etc. Strive while you are young and healthy, and feel gratitude for the opportunity to change and "curate" your life the way you want it to go. Circumstances, time, and health, or the lack of it, "curate" life all on their own. Get out ahead of these while you are young, and catch those falling stars & put them in your pocket while you may. 🌟🌈💗

Seriously! I wasted 30 years chasing what I thought would make me happy. I was sure that success would make me complete. Oh how wrong I was and how much time I wasted. I finally woke up and realized that it’s time! Time that binds us all together. Time that we share and value. And time that creates the memories we hold closer than any possessions.
The slower and more simple I live my life the more I feel grateful for time and the passing moments that stick with me. Time is indeed our most precious commodity. It’s the one thing we will all run out of and can’t buy more of. One day our time will be up, make your time memorable and you will be fulfilled. Making your time profitable only leaves you wanting more when you will never truly have control of time.☺️ It’s a gift, and it would be a terrible gift to waste.

Recently moved from the area I was born and lived for 60yrs. I would give any to move back to that peaceful and calming environment.
I can't imagine being able to see the redwood trees and enjoying that beautiful forest. Isabel, you don't know how fortunate you are and I think as you age you will become more and more grateful for the wonderful life you have and have had. Being young often makes us restless and we often don't really know why...just a feeling of not being what we THINK we should be. Don't waste too much time with thoughts like that. You are who you are meant to be and you are giving so many of us a taste of a life in the magnificent mountains living a slower life with a loving partner and family. Those things are such gifts !!

I for an instant can't wait until Autumn and Winter is back again. Soon my biggest nightmare is back: Summer. That time of the year really takes away all my energy and takes a huge toll on my mental condition each year. Funny how something great for one is something extremely miserable for someone else.
Me to honey, i live inthe south of france which is very hot in summer. I drink iced mint tea, soak my legs in freezing water, i take cold showers and listen to rain wind and snow meditations. 🌱🌸🌱

Wow. I didn’t realize you hadn’t posted as much. I love your content. Of the creators I watch, I think your content is probably top three. The reason is what you focus on is incredibly inspiring and wholesome. Part of what’s amazing about it is the quality, and the work that we can see goes into it. I say take your time and make space for yourself. I’d rather see the beautiful work that you put out once or twice a month than someone who is trying to create just for creation’s sake.
