I was NOT alone, while swimming in ice cold water. I had someone with me, in case something should go wrong.
People will stare at you when you walk with a cup of tea and dressing down in the street.
Frida, my cat, is overweight, but she is 17 years old, and is tired, and the vet says that other than the weight, she is healthy, so let her rest and give her lots of love and occasional treats. The one i gave her was too much and an accident, and she does not ever get that much normally.
I am aware that my skates were not as tight as they should be.

What a fun vlog!! I've decided to subscribe. Your impromptu skating on wild ice was great, and you seemed perfectly comfortable and content, even without the normal skating rink handrails. Apparently cats' meows sound the same the world over. Your neighbors will love your beautiful cat sketch, and your Bob Ross style beginner watercolor landscape looks amazing!! As someone who watched Bob Ross' TV show for years back in the day, and who still watches it now, it's always a nice surprise to hear his name spoken with respect from far away places and in different accents. It looks like your year is off to a great start!!
Thank you so much! I was not very confident on the ice at first, but it got better after some time. About the cats, i think they do, and they all seem to meow for the same things, food and attention. Thank you, that is nice of you to say! I love Bob Ross and his skill and way of painting, he is still a great inspiration. Interesting to hear you say that watercolors are hard to work with... I am NOT an experienced artist, but what i loved about watercolors when I started out is how forgiving they are! If you do something you don't like, you can kinda just wash it out and do it again! But I can see how it wohld be very different from working with oils or acrylics, which could be disorienting! I haven't even tried those!
Anyway, your watercolors are GORGEOUS. 🤩 You clearly know what you're doing already! I particularly loved the one at the end with all the layers of hills and trees... Beautiful work. Keep doing it, and be gentle with yourself! ❤😊
They are very forgiving, and what you say is very true, there are many things that are probably easier with watercolors as well, what i mean is that if you should make a mistake or something, and it is all dry, you can not just cover it with more paint, and if you try to wash it too much , the paper you paint on can start crumbling a bit and ruin the whole thing😅 But thank you so much! I really appreciate it☺
Right, with acrylics you can just paint more over the top, right?? I'd like to try that...sounds very different.
@@evan_ingalls Exactly! The same with oil, and oil takes a long time to dry, so you can do all kinds of things. It is very freeing.
I see no random clips, I see special moments of your life. 🙂 As for the ice skating, that was okay you fell, with snow on the ice you can not see the cracks. 😉
It was out on a field with frozen rainwater, and with the snow i could not see the little dirtpiles and grass bumps underneath, so i had to fall at some point😅

I am not sure if anyone actually helped in this comment section with your video quality problem. As a CZcamsr myself I might be able to help you there. CZcams unfortunately automatically lowers the quality of channels with low subscriber amounts. That you can see when right clicking on your video, then go to "statistics for nerds". In the codecs section it says avc.1 which is the low quality codec in youtube. What you want is a vp09 codec which is the same quality as your original file. You can get that by simply uploading in 4k or 2k. Your video may not be recorded in those resolutions, but you can set it in any video editing software to be rendered that way. Then CZcams will automatically give you the vp09 codec. I really hope this helped and was not too complicated.. Keep up your lovely videos and let me if it helped! :)

🌲🍀🐾 No way did you l👀k like an "idiot" while ice skating. More like "Elegant". I could see a painting being done of a pretty woman (with gorgeous long brown hair)ice skating on a frozen waterway in the forest. Idiot, would be the last thing I'd be thinking. And your a fine artist too🐾🍀🌲.
