OnePlus 12 starts form 999 not from 799 :( It's second video about that OnePlus device where the price is wrong. 799 is for OnePlus 12R with different CPU. After all OnePlus 12 looks like a solid device.

the designers of the 12th needed to abandon that incomprehensible leather or rough glass (it's unclear what's there?) and to put it like a Samsung or an iPhone = it would look very expensive to look at.

However, the smartphone with 24 GB of RAM could not outperform the iPhone, which has only 8 GB. Everything China does is done under a license from outdated Western technologies.

Oneplus 12 is on par with the best premium range today, it does it so well, it is so fluid, it has a lot of power, simply one of the best for this 2024, highly recommended

I also got the OnePlus 12 and you have to put the phone in high performance mode for geekbench 6, i got around 2100 for single score and around 6200 for multi core.
I will tweak it for the next speed test

It should be closer to 7k multi I think. At least thats what the s24u is getting.

Just a tip next time you use a Oneplus or any PVK brand going to the battery settings and turn on the performance mode. Then you will even know the proper performance of an smartphone.
The oneplus12 is blowing everybody's minds. Its out performing every flagship lol. Also the color on the display is great ita also the sharpest panel on the market with its ppi. It's also half the price yet its a full blown flagship. It also charges in 30 minutes.

One of the other most important things that most Android phones dominate, especially Oneplus, is charging. The OP can wireless charge faster than a top tier $1400 iPhone, it wired charges more than double the speed AND it comes with the fast charger in the box!!!
I never really understood the whole super fast charging. Myself, and I feel like the majority of people charge their phone at night. So it doesn't really matter how fast it charges. Honestly, if someone can't make their phone last a whole day, I think that is borderline addiction.
@@Nerman12223To each their own. A few people don't use it, but that definitely doesn't justify a way more expensive phone NOT having it as an option. A lot of people like to just do a quick top up. Charging over night degrades the capacity too but also sometimes you just forget (or pass out lol). Apple and Samsung have had to handicap their phones with updates and developer menu toggles to combat the capacity degradation so there's clearly a downside to leaving it all night. Some phones try to limit to 80 or 90% to help with that but then what's even the point? You're starting off a day with less than full.
@@VibnWavez Yea that makes sense. I agree that it should be an option since it's $1000. I guess for me having super fast charging or not doesn't really matter. I know that phones nowadays have safeguards for charging overnight. It's not actually receiving power the whole night.
I can't speak for other phones but for iPhone if you have optimized charging on it will only charge to 80 and then right before you wake up it will go to 100. Since that higher range is where the degradation happens overtime. If you don't, it will charge to 100, then if it drops to 95 overnight, it will charge to 100 again.
@@Nerman12223I dont think majority of people charge at night ,many people in my circle believe charging longer will ruin phone's battery and may heat up ,explode etc ,people dont trust optimisations that easily...
And besides if there is no compromise of fast charging like one plus 12 with 5400mah ,I think its genuinely underrated feature and companies should have no excuse to not implement it since its been years it was introduced

another thing you dont know about is that iphone have no vapour chamber . on the other hand the oneplus 12 have the largest vapour chamber right now that will show in heavy loads in consistency

To properly test CPU I would create 150 step editing (just random things) in Lightroom or such and render the picture. Which phone does it faster usually have better real life CPU performance.

For OnePlus 12 have you check on battery setting to turn on High Performance Mode? Default was setting for battery saver
SD 8 Gen 3 has integrated better X75 modem, iPhone has X70 modem externally.
The OnePlus was probably not set to performance mode in the settings when you did geek bench. I've seen it test much higher in other videos

Speed test only matters when you are comparing one phone to the other. Any phone with descent specs should be fast. What should I really matter these are software, battery optimisation, update policy camera, screen etc
nick if i ask u to pick a phone between 15 plus or oneplus 12 which one would u pick price is not a problem i only want for 5 years or more usage which one will be more stable cuz u know android phones will be more buggy and laggy over the years than iPhones but this have a real powerful software and hardware combination

Bro, on your oneplus 12, a message pops up about the app being deleted when you open the app. And this optimization slows down the opening of the application for a fraction of seconds. It is necessary to disable the optimization of the application on oneplus 12!! The test is not informative!!! 🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷😏

My oneplus 9 pro has been solid if only it was still getting software updates it's on Android 13 but 50 watt wireless charging reverse wireless charging mind you this came out in March of 2021 also 65 watt wired charging 1-100 charge in sub 20 minutes.
With apple you get less change so the optimization is easy for them to do people over here complaining about the s24 ultra looking like the s23 ultra which also looked like the s22 ultra but apple has used essentially the same design since the 11 or 12

With one plus you can always download a third-party ROM after they no longer provide updates so you can get 6 years of updates for your OnePlus
You can import The Oneplus 12 in Europe from China and will cost you about 650 euro which is a complete steal of deal!!!! The iPhone 15 Pro Max costs 1500 euro here so more than double. Apple has to calm down with the crazy prices...
