- This is a puzzle game with a mechanic about swapping objects. It is actually pretty interesting despite swapping being a puzzle mechanic before. The end is also sus.

Wow! That was the most entertaining gameplay video I've seen of our game so far - and it will give our puzzle designer nightmares! Thanks so much for playing and we hope you enjoyed it, even though you had to cheese those two sphere puzzles (your solutions were unintentional, by the way, but very creative). Always interesting to see how different players handle different types of puzzles. You did the elevator one at the end with ease, but the one before that where you had to get the ball through the halfpipe thing gave you a headache. We had a lot of testers who felt the opposite 😄

He is really fond of cheese for he likes finding the unintended clever solutions. I do not think he is the average puzzle game player.

@@iantaakalla8180 there are some walkthroughs on YT where the intended solutions to these two puzzles can be seen (its easier and more understandable to show it in motion)

game doesn't seem that apealling, full of loose ends and unintended looking stuff like sphere rolling and funky momentum/ weird collisions
I don't recall you ever getting stuck that often and having to rely on cheese not because it's fun but because the game isn't clear on wtf it wants you to do

You just roll the ball. Swap it to box outside the red gate and let it roll in. Finally follow it in and swap with stone box to align it with the hole

@@darioferretti3758... Actually, she does sound like GLaDOS at first. Though the noticeable difference is that this narrator says sorry then proceed to tell you are insignificant, while GLaDOS would bring that straight up say you are insignificant and tell you to do the test.
... Take this with a grain of salt.

31:51 you put one block outside the barrier, roll the ball down the hill and swap with that block, then you have the second block in front of the button ramp, once the ball rolls through the barrier, you swap the ball with the second block.

I thought it was going to be a parody game at first.
It definitely wears its Portal influence on its sleeve, but so do most first person puzzle games. It lacks the type of spectacle and gimmick that would likely get normies like Vinny Vinesauce to play it, but not every game of this type needs that, especially when you have games like superliminal and the camera one where it seemed like the actual puzzles took a backseat to the gimmick.

Extra Deluxe Chess Battle Advanced
The level dressing is similar to The Talos Prinicple in a way that encourages exploration, except Talos rewards players for getting to weird places and this game does not. I feel like it would've benefited from either hiding a bunch of secrets everywhere or simplifying the level barriers so they don't attract attention.
