This is amazing. The people who sing truly believe in the words. Its so heart felt. Their voice is a true talent. You hear it in their voice and see it in their face the commitment to the words and music. Its a beautiful thing.
Beautifully done and very moving. (Too bad the video and audio are not synchronized.) I'm in a Jewish community choir (Allentown, PA), and we're learning this piece for this year's Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) program. So I learned that the music was composed by Michael Horvit, commissioned by Houston's Congregation Emanu-El, for the 50th anniversary of Kristallnacht. The poem was written on a basement wall in Cologne, Germany, by someone hiding from the Nazis.
How you honor our King and comfort your Forever Brothers and Sisters with your voices! Thank you!

Really a beautiful performance of an amazing piece. Thanks
There's another gorgeous arrangement of this text, by Sumner Jenkins.
Lovely job!
Love the Sumner Jenkins version... I had my choir sing it last Sunday as part of our Holocaust remembrance service.
