How to remove and replace a sagging Audi A6 Sedan headliner

After removing my headliner, I took it to an auto trimmer to cover it for me. I do not recommend covering it yourself as the adhesives they sell in stores is not the same as the adhesive the auto trimmers use and they have experience doing this.
This video will show you how to remove all the trim pieces in order to drop the headliner to get it out the car. If you do not have folding rear seats like my car, you will have to bend the headliner a bit to get it out the rear door of the passenger side. It helps to remove the rear seat bench to lower the front seats completely.

It's definitely not for the faint hearted. 🤣 Trying to remember which screws go with what can be confusing, but I just keep all the screws in the general area of the car where they came off. Soon, I'll be pulling the entire center console out the car to replace it with a wood veneer console and that is going to be a tricky one too. But its the final result that just keeps me going 🙂

@ClaudioMacrod hey Claudio, Yes. Removing a headliner is basically all the same. Grab handles, dome lights front and rear, sun visors, B pillars and rear C pillar trim. Having done this, I would recommend to get the rear seat bench out and drip the front seats as far as they will go with headrests off and also move the seats as far back as they will go. The passenger side rear door will be where you want to get it out. But you WILL have to bend the roof lining card quite a bit to get it out and back in. I thought mine was ruined when I reinstalled it but the creases have l9ng since smoothed out and one can't even tell it was changed.

How do you put that whole thing out from the car?Actually I had to do this,but I cannot put out from the car....

You need someone to help you. One inside the car and someone outside the car. Remove the rear seat bench, lower the front passenger seat as low as possible and then you have to push the headliner out the rear passenger door. You will have to bend it a bit but that will be okay. When reinstalling you will have to bend it again and it will crease somewhat, but the creases go away after a few days.

It wasn't necessary as the ignition wasn't turned on. The only time I would disconnect the battery is if I'm unplugging or plugging an airbag in the car.
