LeeAnn Kreischer is the host of The Wife of the Party podcast, and is married to Bert Kreischer. Thank you for talking about COVID and the effects on young kids. My 14 year hates virtual learning and not being able to go out and play sports or hangout with friends. I feel horrible trying to help him in school, work from home and care for a baby. I try not to be too hard on him about grades, its in none of our hands and his mental health is more important to me than grades. Thank you 🥰 always love the shows

maybe i messed up from pausing and coming back. But i remember Drew saying Faucci was responsible and a good source to listen to. Is he among these "idiots setting rules" that Drew was referring to? im just confused.
To the best of my understanding, Faucci only advises guidelines, but doesn’t actually decide them. If his advice had been fully followed from the beginning America would be in a far better place. To me Drew’s comments felt aimed at legislators instead, he mentioned “let actual physicians and virologists make decisions”. I might have interpreted it wrong though.

As someone with adhd and on the spectrum, Bert 100% is relatable to me. Anosognosia is a huge part of these too. A clear diagnosis can be life changing. Adhd is hereditory too. I wish I knew I had it as a teenager my life would have been so much easier.

Anyone know which of Dr. Drew's books or lectures I could read/watch to learn more about what went wrong with mental health care in the last 70 years? It sounds incredibly interesting. It's sad how politics is so engrained in the ability to help those in need.
