In reference to the lyric "I want you to be your night" - "Jimin spoke in his VLive the meaning behind this. Namjoon, or RM, helped Jimin with this particular section of his song. In combination with “I want you to be your light”, this phrase seems like a contradiction. However, RM explained to Jimin that these lyrics were written in such a way to encourage people to accept both the darkness and the light inside of themselves. People are not all light and positive all the time, but that doesn’t lessen their worth or make them any less of themself."

Jimin isnt my bias of bts and my absolute favorite artist for nothing, not just his looks and voice, but hes got such a heavy warm heart and hes one of the most kind and humble people ever, he really stands out from anyone ive ever seen and its really inspiring. He is my idol for these reasons, and to have been his fan for 6 years now and seen him grow as a person and blossom into this man he is today! its really amazing! and the fact im the same age as him and also born in october, being a libra is so nice haha! i feel like i connect to him more.

I've heard some people try to sing this, but they need to leave this for Jimin. He and this song were made for each other.

I have said this for as long as I have been a fan of BTS, Jimin has the IT factor. Everyone can learn to sing and perform, but not every artist has that legendary quality about them. There are only a few born in a century and Jimin is one of them.

I agree. All the guys are extremely talented but i don’t know there is just something about Jimin that captivates you. I haven’t been listening to any of BTS group or solo stuff for long and I know Jungkook and Nam-Joon are the most popular ones but Jimin has always just popped out to me from the start. For me, Jimin is R&B all the way. One of his influences is Usher and it shows. I don't think I'll survive the comeback tonight because I think he's going fully sexy. I was blessed enough to see Serendipity live twice and lost it each time. I absolutely adore this man and I'm beyond proud of him.

When I comes to solo music, bts is different. In the past albums, sometimes they had solo songs, Lie is from the album wings, Filter is from Map of the soul:7, Serendipity was part of the Love yourself series, all of the members had solo songs in the bts albums, and sometimes when they made music outside their albums, they release those songs on soundcloud for free to army, as a gift. Promise is one of those songs, so he has solo music but Set me free pt2 was his first solo debut, the others songs are under the name of bts, this is the first time jimin has the song under himself as an artist, just bc in the past bts always priotize the group. Is different with the rap line since they produce, write and compose so much more, some of them had mixtapes but that wasn't their debut eather. They didn't have physical albums or promotions in the past, just music. For all the members, 2023 is their first step as solo artist oficially, idk if you get what i'm saying, sorry if is a little bit confusing. But yes, Face is his oficial debut as a solo artist, the same with jhope and his album jack in the box, Rm's Indigo and the astroanut by jin (although it was a single album bc he went to the military and didn't have enough time to put a mini or a full album)
I'm with you, Pat. That particular bass line and his dance moves for it ALWAYS gets me. Singularity and Serendipity are the first two BTS songs on my playlist. They're timeless. A member of the legendary Boys to Men actually did a cover of Serendipity after he was blown away by it at a BTS concert!

Face Album which will release in the Friday 24th his first official solo album all the rest of his solo songs are part of their albums. Promise is different not belong to album it just like how they make some single songs and it wasn't in spotify until his first solo official album done.

Jimin performed Filter in an empty place because of the COVID 19 and their concert canceled and I was so sad because this concert i actually booked with my daughters in New Jersey one in May and was our first concert because their tickets with the flight to USA aere so expensive if you go from New Zealand so the made an online concerts for their fans and it was very upsetting for them too and super hard to perform in an empty stadium without fans cheering for them 💔

There is a vertical fancam of this song that I really like cuz it doesn't zoom in and out so much and you get to see more of his dancing. Even if you don't react to it, you should definitely check it out. Along with his live performance of Serendipity from Wembley Stadium. It's much the same, but I love it even more than this one.
I'd really like to watch you respond to BTS NPR tiny desk concert. It's kind of an up close and personal thing where you get to see each member just sitting there (mostly😊) singing, doing there thing. Jimin has a great appeal in this video.💜

I'm starting from the beginning with your BTS reactions, and you seem to think that he was held back musically. That was probably encouraged by Set Me Free pt 2. That song is more about critics and societal pressures than the label holding him back. His style was adapted for the group, just like all the other members, but he had just as much freedom to release solo work on SoundCloud as the rapline did. All of the vocalists kept us waiting for _years_ for EPs. Meanwhile the rappers were racking up the song credits....😅 The way Face was created as a _project_ reacting to the pandemic, written in a year of intensive collaboration with pdogg, really tells me he needs special circumstances to create his own music. I can't wait to see what he comes back with after military!!
When Serendipity dropped, BigHit put up a counter but didn't give any real hint as to why. So we're all just sitting, waiting for whatever the thing is....and then the MV for that song happened. When I tell you I lost my entire shiiiiiii--jaw on the floor, screaming like a 4th grader at a county fair in front of my whole family....omg it was so, so good. If he hadn't already been my ultimate bias, that song would have secured the spot!
