It's all good. These things happens. A lot of things went wrong today, but dwelling on that alone is pointless. I had a great week and today was a bit shit, but its ok. Massive technical issues with getting the stream working in the first place, then fighting a battle I knew I shouldn't have just for entertainments sake, then making a huge mistake at the start of the battle and deciding to just start it again was also a mistake. and then when I was fighting it the second time and it didn't look like it was going well my internet cut out making it look like I raged out of the battle. Even though I won it at the end, a lot of people resorted to insulting which really didn't help. And then to finally make it worse the guy that was supposed to arrive to do some work on my house, which I was supposed to let in arrive a bit early and knocked on the side of my house to get my attention to let him in, which forced me to end the stream abruptly. It was a catastrophic end to an otherwise relatively shit livestream.

Look on the bright side, at least now you will know when to stop streaming if you don't feel like it or don't have much time

Congrats, this is the first video on youtube that i actually wanted to watch that was over 20 minutes in length and finish. Keep up the good content, the way you explain things is brilliant.
Keep in mind ppl, as of the Amethyst update, Invoc of Nehek can only heal up to 4 targets, reducing the effectiveness of blobbing considerably

I'm a pretty casual player in WH but in every game I play I always watch higher end content to see what the most experienced players are doing and why they're doing it. Your disaster campaigns, streams, 20 turn guides, ect are all ready helpful and I think you present information in a relatable and understandable way. Thanks for these guides and also it's great to see a VC game. I remember you saying people don't watch them as much so I'm happy this one slipped through. Take it easy man and I appreciate what you do.

What I miss? I not see the livestream because I know how Legend hates Attila, and I didnt want waste my time watching bitch about everything in the game, for that I would wait when he plays Medieval II again.

Drink every time "you have to be aggressive" or "you have to go on the offensive" is mentioned.
I vote for a Mortal empires campaign, Vampire Counts, with short victory conditions (take over the Empire, kill/vassalize the Vampire Coast/all other undead factions, and that's it!). Use the maximum of the new bloodlines mechanic while at it - ranged vampire armies, tons of winds of magic, mass lahmian agents, all the good stuff. Would be nice one to watch I think!
and please do a second part, seems like a very good and entertaining campaign and u haven't even got out of the old world

"it's a bloody mess". I see what you did there.
A great tactic with public order, that is actually kind of necessary when playing on legendary, is to just let provinces revolt and keep 1 'defending' army to move around all your provinces destroying rebel armies constantly.
These are the benefits:
-free gold
-free experience
-free items
It's a great way to get extra cash. Bit cheesey and makes the game too easy though. Especially on vampire counts which is the easiest faction to do this on. You'll often build up a large number of 'famous battle sites' by doing this and have access to the most powerful units very early on without ever needing to build recruitment buildings.
I usually end up quitting the game and starting another one after doing this for a while though because it gets too easy and boring. It's my biggest problem iwth warhammer and total war games in general. Most of the challenge is right in the beginning and then it just becomes a boring steamroll. Unless you purposely make bad decisions to make the game harder for yourself.
I'd absolutely watch another episode.

I think the rapid expansion is a habit most have coming from other TW titles, where you blitz large chunks of the map. WH2 feels more like: let's take some regions around the starting position, consolidate economically and defense, while leveling up Lords, then build up power and stomp chunks of the map at a time. Repeat.
That depends on the chosen difficulty. It's true for VH+
@@tvs5941 Yeah, but then again lower difficulties don't really feel like a challenge... and I think it still applies as lower difficulties can be played more like older TW titles and when people switch to higher difficulties, they still have those tendencies as lower difficulties don't hammer them out of you.

The easiest way to get kisses by far is to assassinate characters since heroes count and you dont even need to declare war on the hero's faction to do it, but you already knew that. Anyways, I would love to watch such a series.

The sylvanian crossbowmen and handgunners don't actually replenish over time, idk why it says that.
Every time you awaken a von carstein lord, you can recruit another crossbowmen unit, and the last one also unlocks a handgunner unit. The von carstein lords have a skill they can unlock that also gives you an extra crossbowmen unit, so that should be a total of 6 crossbowmen units. Pretty neat imo.
If they die or are disbanded they can be recruited again like RoRs can.
This is really fun, I'd vote for another episode if only for the entertainment. That, or your own Von Carstein campaign if you're interested.
They do if you lose them, the exact same as any regiment of renown
@@gerryjtierney You've got your failure to read beyond the first sentence showing. The end of his first paragraph removes any need for your comment. His first sentence was referencing that at one point in time, sylvanian crossbowmen said something about their unit cap growing over time, the erroneous text was removed in a patch I think, it has been a while since I played VCounts.
All pbloodline lords, the guys with the purple background and unique skills are immortal.
All necromancer lords start with TWO free skills. The first gives all zombies and skeletons two ranks, which can be increased to four, the other makes you a bit better at casting if I remember right. I think it was raise dead cost and uses.
liking the streams, keep doing what you do well, and if they leave 'cheese' in the games to be exploited, you exploit it - no shame or blame needed. also cheese is delicious.
imo chessing the game is kinda meh. i enjoy watching it here, but i prefer not to do too much of it. also yes, cheese is delicious.
This one was pretty neat, learned a bit about the Vamp's which is nice since I've struggled with them in the past. Keep up the great content!
To generate blood kisses via the Rebellions, they need to conquer the settlement to establish a faction. Only then the enemy general will be a faction leader and give blood kisses upon getting killed.
My favorite Total Warhammer mod is the 'rebuild Vlad's face' mod.

wh2 makes for varied disaster campaigns
Since the Empire update I've found it 10x harder as VC I find Reikland consolidates then confederates and suddenly you have a behemoth as a neighbour if you don't kill some of the Empire factions early on you're in for trouble.

I only ever expand as far as mount gunbad while holding good relations with clan angrund through templehof farming.
Only with a lesser army of skeletons and zombies for its gold mine over there.
For the rest its old vlad and isabella steam marching to reikland.
isabella at lvl 1 at turn 62.... huge facepalm...
not a wrong direction, actually. this prevents dwarf/greenskin blobbing as well as spreading towards a corner of the map, which is really helpful on legendary
You can disband always by using Ctrl+P
Question: Wouldn't putting Isabella on force march on the first turn have caused her to be killed by the auto resolve?

Sylvanian Crossbowmen are RoR I believe. They're okay, but it's a shame you can't get a decent number of them.
For a faction like VC where you generate much more gold from battle loots, you should keep a lord at state capital and constantly beat off revolts with help of city guards. I cant think of a better lord than Vampire lords for this role in the game. Healing and AoE buff will help you hammer and anvil. Once you unlock death wind you could basically solo revolts with your lord single handly. You can stabilize your public order after you've researched enough income technologies. This method will also generate you some magic items along the way.
Oh i forgot about spell raising dead. Vampire lords are just over all the best in the PvE really.

Can someone give me the long and short of what happened on the stream?
Vlad Von Carstein can dodge hundreds of arrows by running in circles but Rickon Stark cant dodge one by running in a straight line. Shame.
Weird Vlad seems to run into the mountains and overextends as an AI aswell

I really needed to see this, I had the same experience as this player and I pretty much rage quit that campaign. I originally lost from auto resolving a favourable odd battle at a siege of altdorf, and it went downhill from there. Thanks so much for posting this, I'll refrain from going to the mountains, and attack a weakened empire early on instead.

These help a lot because I recruited zombie troops I’ll switch to skeleton
1:39:19 Legend is no doubt correct as far as this game is concerned but in the real world the main uses of low tier calvary was to scout, raid, and skirmish. They were much faster than infantry and could hit hard, do a lot of damage, and run for their lives faster than anything else could run them down. These aren't allowed to do that in this game.
Are the Von carsteins a difficult faction? Because I have always found that the lack of ranged units is quite detremental for them especially later in the game, I seem to crush them every campaign (very hard difficulty) and when I play them it feels like their flying units (especially on the higher difficulties) can't even 1v1 fight enemy ranged units and cavalry is quite underwhelming unless you cylce charge and that takes a lot of attention otherwise your units get wiped out.
