Teardown Full Game Any% Glitchless No Upgrades TAS Speedrun

- NOTE! This is a GLITCHLESS, NO UPGRADES, TAS (Tool assisted speedrun), meaning that 3rd party mods and tools were used, but glitches and exploits were not. Equipment was also never upgraded.
Tools/mods used: Timer, save states, autohotkey, autoclicker, screen recorder, editing software
Furthermore, this run is spliced, meaning that only the best attempts are shown.
Game version: 0.93-0.95
The specific tools that were used were: Timer, save states, autohotkey, autoclicker, screen recorder, editing software
Glitches and exploits that were NOT used: prop flying, glitching through objects, prop surfing, prop boost, teleportation
Visuals: Visuals were slowed down using timer in real time and sped up in the video to be accurate on average. Visuals were calculated to run at at least 60 fps. Visuals that were used were 'cinematic' and not 'real'. Real visuals are ones that are recorded as it appears on screen, cinematic visuals are ones recorded with Screen Recorder mod. You can find speedrun with 'real' visuals here: • Teardown speedrun 'real'
Time: Visuals were given number one priority when it comes to tracking time (tracking of time was based on the visuals and not on the audio). Time was tracked from the first frame of "Part 1" till clicking "continue" button in Final Diversion. Time was not tracked during loading screens.
Audio: Audio was recorded by using Tuxedo Lab's Screen Recorder mod. Audio was then placed to match the visuals. 'Cinematic' visuals were used instead of 'real' so that there would be no audio discrepencies. Because of this there might be some visual slowdown or speedup (though there shouldn't be and it's only a difference of a couple frames or so). Overall average time should be identical. Other segments don't have audio as timer doesn't allow for audio recordings and Screen Recorder can't be (wasn't) used there. Some segments may have missing audio, however, speedrun is visuals first.
Splicing: This video was spliced by using save states and/or video editing. Splicing was performed only during loading transitions, in a way, that it wouldn't (shouldn't) affect the game or the speedrun timer. Splicing is supposed to be frame perfect, though there might be slight error of up to 2 frames per segment.
Final note: Due to the variety of tools used and the nuances of using them, the final time may not be entirely accurate. There might be a total margin of error of up to 10 seconds or so (not like it matters...). If you notice blatant errors let me know as my method may not be perfect. :)

How is this video not popular, I like how laid back he is and draws emojis from time to time
It's not the only thing I draw ;) 45:47

I like how the Meticulous Planner achievement takes longer to do than this entire speedrun
0:19 those boxes 💀
Him: Speedrunning
Me: Skipping missions:)
I like how it's a TAS for fun and not absolute precision.
That how the game was meant to be played!
Typically, with a TAS, you'd run basically a script who'd go through many, many replays. But, there's some catches. Games like this. Very hard.
This still is a TAS, just not the traditional way!
Yeah... I considered it but that's too much effort and this is an RNG heavy game. While it's certainly predictable, it's also not exactly exact. Which sucks for scripted TAS. I just wanted to make a fun video you could follow along that would also be in very high quality (4k 60fps) as speedruns of this game are always in low quality for obvious reasons. Not necessarily worrying about the fastest time. TAS would come in handy for doing glitch routes and runs but I felt like that takes away from the spirit of the game so I didn't want to do that. So in other words just look at it as a high production value, computer assisted fast campaign run.
Super speed run!
39:14 what a mf 😂
Good speedrun
Epic
11:50 :)
Nice
This came up while i was listening to Farewell of Slavianka.
That makes sense
omg 😮
Would each TAS run be different because of the physics?
Yeah mostly. This was only semi-automated for that exact reason. You would need a computer that never lags and always runs at the same exact framerate to make it consistent.
the question must be awsered. why did they make the chooper weaker then the 0.9.3???
It did actually slap you kind of hard. If you got in a bad position it would stun lock you and without maximum speed you couldn't really escape it. Even in this video I nearly died to it because it reduced my speed so much. I dunno what changes they did to it though.
@@JustAPal dude i thought you wont answer this
also nice drift in power outage
@@JustAPal maybe more damage but reduce speed of minigun
@@ddstar8470 I'm not sure if the chopper segments were recorded in version 0.93 or 0.95 since this video took so long to record that it spanned across both versions.
Gg
Awesome speedrun, just shame it is not with all objectives... :/
It's the bare minimum. More objectives means slower speedrun. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@JustAPal yeah ofcourse, but the community differentiates between "required" and "optional" no? 🤔
@@kexcz8276 I dunno. Most likely. I don't engage with the community. I mean an all objectives + all side missions run is definitely possible, it's just really annoying to do and you would need either quite a bit of prep (which would make the speedrun take longer) or you need to use glitches and unintended mechanics which to me goes against the spirit of the game. You also need to collect more money and buy more upgrades. It's just a whole lot more factors with a lot more considerations and a lot more work. Doing a TAS with such harsh requirements is too time consuming. The less objectives the easier it is and this video was already a nightmare to produce.
@@JustAPal seems you are right, but you know, it would be still thrilling to watch! 😃 (without any cheating and glitches ofc... ;). Yeah and one more thing- what does TAS mean? 😅😂
@@kexcz8276 Yeah I get your point. It's just too much work for a random one off youtube vide. TAS means tool assisted speedrun, which this video is.
How did you make a tas?
Tas is a very broad term.
Tas can be done with save states, slow motion, segmenting, scripts and many more
I think he used slow motion for this
Trial error and brute force. More info in the description. The tools are that I used are janky AF and are extremely time consuming and frustrating to use so I won't be revealing them. Please save your sanity and find something better and proper.
justa pal take a lesson from bill wonka teardown campaign part1 spedrunner planning and all optional cells . i have on part 1 i have rang 85
Well I made this a year ago. No doubt there are better routes nowadays. The maps probabl changed as well.
