I’m a fat girl and I don’t expect guys to be attracted to me. I actually expect that the majority won’t be since I myself am not attracted to fat guys. I have my own problems I deal with, I just don't think Id have the emotional energy to take on gender dysphoria as well. I don't hate trans people. Hell, Ive seen some cute petite trans girls Id totally sleep with. But like in terms of relationships, I don't think Id be a fair and supportive enough partner for a trans person. Especially if they also had anxiety or if it was something to do with getting angry easily. I don't mean to generalize because I'm sure there are several trans people (such as Blaire) who don't feel this way but I have noticed many trans people do pull the "you're transphobic" card when you're not open to dating them. For example an ex of mine came out as trans 3 months before we broke up. I supported them when they came out but left the relationship later on because I felt it was emotionally abusive and unhealthy. Not long afterwards I started being labelled a transphobe and many people started to dislike me. Thankfully most people listened to reason when I explained how things really went down but tbh it still really sucks that stuff like this happens commonly.

Just wanted to add: I've been dating someone outside of my race for five years. Needless to say, I love them very much. But among the lessons I would tell younger me if I traveled back in time, I would tell them that intercultural dating isn't "cute" or "quaint", it's not always fun happy times. It's REALLY HARD to date someone whose fundamental experiences are completely different from yours. If anything, people that call someone racist for being wary of dating someone from a different culture probably have a very shallow idea of what cultural differences mean. I'm suspicious of someone who completely rules out dating other cultures/races, but it's also not a fun carnival to show off how progressive we are. It comes with challenges and no one is required to want them.
