@@grillya4648 I usually get hit by it when i jump, although jumping backwards and dashing immediately back in gives a really fast close spot to minos.
Just beat the guy. I found that if you are sliding, he'll land not on top, but near you, then you just jump over the wave. It was the last attack I learnt to dodge.

First it died normally and turned into a corpse, then V1 goes and kills his fucking corpse, and then enters his corpse to fucking kill his soul.

ackshually the corpse we fight is controlled by parasites, so it's 2
He first died as a human and then became Judge of Hell, then he died when Gabriel killed him after the Holy Council decided he was going against God's will, and then he died as a Prime Soul when V1 came and ultrakilled him

It took me upward of 73 restarts on PC. And this man just clowned on him with a controller in 23 restarts! Truly built different
I had the exact same amount of restarts on my first go. Now I have Minos P-ranked on violent and he really feels like a pr simple boss.

@@sentientlemonbattery once you beat pinos, he's not too bad imo, like the first time i beat him it took ~50 restarts for a d rank on standard, but only like 10 restarts for p rank on violent

So the lore behind minos is that he was the king of the lust layer which is where you fight his corpse, he realized why should we punish people for loving others, or what they do, and decided to turn the lust layer into a sprawling metropolis mores so a paradise instead of a mechanical hell scape and god took this as a sign of defiance and had his strongest angel being gabriel kill him and seal his soul away inside the flesh prison.
God went missing when he became king of lust and heaven was in ruin when he ruled lust. It was only after the angels got their shit together that they saw what Minos was doing and thought it was against God's will. Then they sent the angels and we know how that went down.

Also, his soul manifestation was ridiculously strong. He had a massive husk just to contain his soul. Soul manifestation is dependent on how well you were remembered in you past life. In Minosâs case, probably after his death, the people that saw Gabriel kill and contain Minos remembered him. Once you kill the Flesh Prison, the soul fragment thatâs been suppressed, is suddenly and violently released all at once, in such a way that the soulâs husk is unable to withstand it. In other words, once a Prime Soul manifests, it doesnât require a husk in order for it to manifest.

Malenia, Nameless King, Minos Prime, The Reaper, so many bosses like this.
Bosses who are almost impossible when you first fight them 100% blind, but after losing around a 100-or-so times, you subconsciously develop Ultra Instinct just for them, so that the next time you fight them, you beat them without a sweat.
Minos Prime is now the only reason why I play ULTRAKILL. Everything after him, Gabby included, is just too easy. I just start the game up whenever I feel like beating his ass lmao
I heard P-2 is going to be even HARDER.
Iâd also like to add Nightmare King Grimm to the list, at least that was my experience

You really should be using magnets with the nail guns, trust me it helps out so much. Your dps with the overheat nail gun is doubled at every range other than point-blank/ULTRA close range.

Judgement: Parry kick and dash, if he is on second phase: just dash when he does the kick (invincibility frames)
Crush/Die: Dash when he drop-kicks, and get over the shockwave
Thy end is now: keep moving and parry the 4th punch if he is on the first phase. Just avoid if on second
Prepare thyself: Prepare thyself because on his 3rd punch, he'll send a snake that you need to parry. I dash back and parry
WEAK: This is what he says at half health, indicating that his second phase has begun. The only thing you can parry now is the snakes and all the attacks happen one after the other in a rapid session
Last but not least, if there isn't a shockwave you need to jump over. stay on the ground at all times. You will get killed if you stay in the air more than the bare minimum (Jumping over the shockwaves and thats it really)
