I told Elliott, via an NME webchat, that his voice and writing style reminded me of George Harrison which, thankfully, he took as the highest compliment that I could give. Elliott Smith was (is) one of the greatest songwriters that America has given the world.

I’m almost 30 and have loved Elliott since I was 17, my first tattoo was the falling people from the self-titled album! It was such a pleasure to watch you guys enjoying this album.
