🌄 Day 1: We kicked off our adventure by hiking through lush green valleys, immersing ourselves in the breathtaking beauty of the Andes Mountains. Our destination? The mesmerizing Emerald Lagoon, a hidden gem nestled high in the Peruvian wilderness. You won't believe the shades of green you'll witness here!
Experience the magic of sleeping under the stars in our clear dome lodge, allowing us to stargaze from the comfort of our cozy beds. The Milky Way has never looked so close, but the real beauty was Salkantay Mountain!
🏕️ Day 2: We continue our trek deeper into the heart of the Andes, passing through picturesque villages and witnessing the daily life of the local communities. The scenery becomes even more jaw-dropping as we approach the Salkantay Pass, one of the true highlights of the journey.
Our 2nd night is spent under A-frame cabins, with clear walls, and cold showers... The cabins provided amazing views of the Andean valley.
🎨 Day 3: Get ready for a cultural twist as I delve into the world of face paint! We connect with local traditions and adorn ourselves with vibrant colors, truly becoming one with the Peruvian culture.
🐍 Adventure meets refreshment as I try the famous "snake drink" - a local specialty that's not for the faint of heart! Watch as we summon our courage and take a sip of this unique concoction.
⛺ We dive into the essence of adventure as we set up camp amidst the pristine wilderness. And don't miss our visit to the rejuvenating hot springs, where we soak our weary bodies and unwind amidst nature's finest. We follow up the hot springs by playing a Peruvian game.
