That sand shark looks awesome. Gives off old school dreadnought vibes with the crane
I am following these base tours for some years now and i am always in awe what people come up with. Not just incredible looking designs, but also concepts and solutions to problems i would never had the creativity to find out for myself.
So thanks to LastStandGamers and their community!
Took us like a week for us to plan and build the Sandshark but it was definitely worth it

These creations had such Kharak vibes i had to set Deserts of Kharak combat ost to play in the background

I feel like the favourite one is that gigantic tank where the main turret is still work in progress but i cant wait to see it finished
When I saw that Sandwich rover at the end, I couldn't help but picture TF2 Heavy driving it into battle screaming "Nobody call my sanvich lame, or I run you over with my sanvich."

Love going back and watching these. Would love to see these with the 7x7 and 15x15 wheel mods. Like a rolling base with 15x15 wheels the players have to take down

An issues I've found with triangular wheelbases is the wheels digging into the ground during turns. As you can imagine with wheel clang, this causes some... interesting results, including rovers temporarily becoming flyers (I'd laugh, but I was doing a 72 hour challenge and that caused a flip and some damage).

That vehicle is sci fi amazing.
I'd love to join on that and try rover only, seems so cool. I mean it's crazy how people get creative and I love it, I'm on 8th minute but damn.. Love it.. Funny is at server where I used to play with friends, I was only one building cars/rovers everyone wanted always just to fly somewhere..
Flying ships always have an advantage over rovers playing like this allows rovers to really come into there own.
I like building rovers and trucks more, and prove that theyr worth building. Especially on survival its bit easier to get that than flying ships when we played on hardcore hehe, had one rover but build attatchments to it.
These server tours of yours always make me go "oh shit that looks cool i should try a server someday" and then i remember i'm antisocial and a very on/off player where i play SE for a week straight and then quit for 2 months.

Funny you say that we actually have a hole mortal engines server season we run you should check out what the players built for that.
We have a whole season for mortal engines.. look for the videos. Hopefully we have another season voted in for 2024!

I lot of vehicles don't have skirting to protect the wheels why?
For some reason on servers vs single player the hit boxes of wheels are bigger and so skirts cause collisions and can cause issues. So the server has bumped up the hitpoints of wheels to help with that.
@@tiberiousvonruger6258 I see and you can't just have pertruding skirt? Or armor on hinges so you can angle it to a none colliding position?
this iteration of the server has a mod that significantly buffs the hitpoints of the wheels, so the wheels are actually far stronger than any armor you could put onto them.
