the addicted calloway sisters series is one of my all time favorites!!!! now it did take kiss the sky to get me completely hooked i’ll be honest. and it sounds cliche to say that it gets better if you go on because a lot of people don’t like lily and lo in the first 3 books. but reading them from rose and connors perspective in their book completely changed my mindset and then it picks up after that!!!! the character growth is insane!!!! highly recommend continuing:)
I read the first book hated them . But really wanna read rose’s book can I skip the addicted series and just continue the Calloway sister series ? Or do I miss to much
@@anoukgrace in all honesty addicted for now was so much better for me because we get both lily and lo’s pov. plus the ending of addicted for now sets up perfectly for the plot of kiss the sky. however i think that kiss the sky provides good insight into events from addicted for now from rose and connors pov if you really do want to skip. there will of course be some details that are only in addicted for now but i still think you could follow the story well. connor and rose are my absolute favorites and their first book really hooked me into this series and i feel like a lot of people feel the same

The Addicted Series is one of my favorites of all time, right up there with Magnolia Parks. I think it’s important to remember that the series is a character study, so it’s important for the characters to start out with something they need to overcome so they can experience growth in the rest of the books. I didn’t love the first two books, but once I got to the third one, I was hooked! Also, DO NOT SKIP OUT ON THE CALLOWAY SISTERS. They are the best books in the series, and there are two more addicted books after the first two calloway sisters books and you need to read them all for context. I promise, the found family in this series rivals the box set and you will be in LOVE
The Love Wager was my first Lynn Painter and OMG, it was SO good. Her humor is fantastic. I loved it. I can't wait to read this one!!

I see that A Winters Promise is on your TBR! I'm reading it right now and just a warning its slow for the first 150 ish pages and then it builds with the magic and world systems more, but its a lot of leaving it up to the imagination sometimes, but the ~content~ is wonderfull! I am almost done and it is amazing and I hope you love it too!

I don’t like the Addicted Series, but I love the Calloway Sisters series!! While most advise against it, you can definitely read them on their own

it sounds so cliche but it does get better! these books are extremely character focused - more like a character study. however, once you get to addicted for now and the calloway sisters you will 100% fall in love with them. the first books are very much establishing the characters, the dynamics, their backgrounds etc but these characters feel so real and the found family in these books is the best

Addicted to You was probably my least favorite, but the series only gets better and better. the found family is everything and once and so many love Lily and Lo but they are my least faves of the core 6. Lol. But still love all the characters. And if you continue the series, the charcter growth and development amongst ALL of them is really beautiful.
I’m on Addicted for Now and desperately just need to push through so I can read Kiss the Sky next 😭

I read the first addicted book a year ago and that was the first and last addicted book I read. Just wasn’t for me. I think I would’ve liked it more if I would’ve read it way earlier in my reading journey

Everyone said they didn’t like hopeless, I personally liked it! It’s not my first choice but it was nowhere near as bad as everyone made it seem. In my opinion.
