These are the best reports we've heard about a QB during camp since Alex Smith. I don't wanna get my hopes up too soon bc it's non-contact practice but JD is definitely looking the part right now. I'm very impressed with his footwork and release.
Yeah until the games are real we wont really know. But, I’d much rather he look the part and hear the reports of the work and studying he does in June then hear he looks meh and doesn’t put in the work. Can’t win it in June but can lose it.

It was unfortunate that Ron thought college interceptions were more important than projecting a guy's size and fit transitioning to the NFL. Picking Emmanuel Forbes at 167 pounds when Christian Gonzalez was available at #16 was a clear mistake IMO. I think it's evidence we didn't have functioning GM that appreciated the high 'miss' rate on first round corners in the NFL.

JD being the first guy in and last guy out, working as much on film as he is on the field. The staff, Whitt looks like a rising star. We won’t know a lot yet about the trenches because there’s zero pads. This is more about getting team acclimated, learning the system, and the staff identifying hey we can use this guy here etc. T, TE, LG, DE, DB are areas I have a lot of questions about. I like Dan, I like Whitt, I want to see how Bobby and Kliff work
Out. Those are my guys I question staff wise. FO, I am confident we have secretly upgraded I. Staff, FO, etc. WR3 is going to be interesting. RB 1 is going to be a dogfight….I think Juste and the Davis guy probably fit better outside. I have zero clue what they will do with slender man. Maybe make scary movies….Davis may be a X factor at DE, and our LB room is loaded. S looks good, RG looks good, C looks good. WR 1 looks good. Ertz if he stay up is a nice big target. On O it starts with JD on D, I’d say Wags. Or LuvLuv. Everyone is optimistic right now. The players, the fans, the coaches. This is the honey moon. So….lets just sit back, in a couple of month we will see how the hard work has paid off. John/other beat reporters, team sites, Ty! Because I don’t watch a lot of baseball lol.

Hopeful, I guess.
But we all need to keep in mind that they will not report some stuff. Then when it goes bad they will say that everyone knew this or that bad outcome was coming. But, they didn’t report it. So we all didn’t know it. It’s not a criticism of John or Nikki as individuals, I think it’s their industry. They have to maintain access. All the people who cover the team do it to some extent. I suppose one can try to Kremlinology the whole thing but we have day jobs. Something could be lurking under the water that they are not talking about. Or maybe not. Hopefully. But we know how things go.
Hopefully Jayden Daniels doesn't suck.
