- A little process video of me tufting a new piece. It's the second in a series of pieces on gerrymandering maps. This is Philadelphia. It's approximately 60 inches in diameter.
Tufted with the KRD-I and KRD-II. I'm testing these and will be for sale in my store soon. www.tufttheworld.com
Yarn: 100% rug wool
Adhesive: AAT 1132
Music from epidemicsound.com
Bonkers Beat club: Swoosh, Bird Flex, Add it up (blah blah)
Katnip (Andy Delos Santos): Don't worry 'bout me
House of Say: Can't pin me down - Jak na to + styl
I must say these are unusual things to tuft but being you have access to everything GO FOR IT! So many people don't understand gerrymandering and what it's doing to our voices... our votes.
That first color looks like 2 Disney Characters fighting 😮 That should be in Florida.
Thanks for bringing the awareness to this Tim.
Beautiful Job!
This is an amazing concept
Great idea for a rug!
This concept is so inspiring 🖤
This playlist👏
Really cool! Thanks for the sub! Cheers to a fresh business model.
I love this project!!! Gerrymandering is something that is so interesting and important to know about. I love the fusion between this problem and turning it into art! It’s one of those things people need to see to understand!! Not to mention I love the color combo, definitely subscribed
💯 this is such a brilliant way to discuss gerrymandering! The perfect medium.
You should make a video about where you get your monks cloth from!!! That would be so helpful👏🏽🙌🏽❤️❤️❤️
We sell it! Link in description 😺
Hello this is a beautiful piece of art. I love it. I have a question I am just entering the world of tufting and ordered by gun and frame which wont be here until June. However, I saw a workshop done in 2019 in Los Angeles do you know of any that are planned in the future in Los Angeles or near by?
Super
I’m new to this and would like to start making small rugs. Which tufting gun is easier to start with the loop or pile as I’m not sure which to tufting gun purchase on your website. Where can I purchase the monk cloth as it’s sold out as well. Can I use burlap to tuft on as a newbie which is readily available at hobby shops? Is it better to purchase the yarn on a cone instead of a bundle and my last question is where do I purchase the frame to hold the cloth while tufting as this item seems to be sold out as well. This is an expensive hobby’s/craft and I want to purchase the correct equipment needed to be successful. Thanks in advance!
Very nice.
What tufting gun model is this please?
When will the AK-III be back in stock?
I'm new to tufting, and I keep getting extra long threads at the end of each row, is this a machine set up problem or bad technique
This usually means you are pausing at the end of the row for more than one tuft. To solve the issue stop pulling the trigger a little faster and don't pause
Hey Tim! Any chance you can link to where you got those electric shears you were using at the end?
bought them on ebay
Please upload a video how to change loop and cut pile lengths of AK-III...!!!!! PLEASEEEEEEEE
Hi! You should have automatically received it when you placed your order. It's included with purchase. Please email support@tufttheworld.com
How much time it took to complete this rug?
Oi gostaria de sabe o nome dessa máquina q você apara os fios q sobra
What are those gloves you are wearing
How do you buy cloth of this size? I can’t find anything over 19 inches
would it work to sew pieces together?
@@beckybeckayy We sell cloth that is 4 meters wide (157") and up to 10 yards in length. Link in description
Is it wise/possible to sew pieces of monk’s cloth together?
yes you can but you won't be able to tuft over the seam.
The wood how is it made
what shaving thing did u use
sheep shear
So you shave the back?
yes
Were can we get the machine

How is it when you tuft the yarn never pulls from the needle hole. I find that when I tuft out of my gun unless I pull slack for the yarn the thread will ultimately de-thread itself.
My yarn is on cones so feeds perfectly into the machine
1like and 1commentaires like this thank 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️💞💞😍😍😍😘😘💕❤️❤️❤️
